Get in, hit the gas, and go… anywhere.

Coachn’ the Fireball…Yea, so the adventure continues. And as my life unfolds before me, I find myself (in my MINI) traveling I know not where. This weekend, Kathie and I headed to San Diego to meet with our new LifeCoach. Yes, I said LifeCoach. And since none of us want to go on this ride alone, having a guided tour is a great idea. So,… off we went to OneCoach. As in, smack the link to the right to see what it’s all about. It’s with gratitude and appreciation that I accept this expert’s advice. I humbly step into the unknown…

The gent in the center is John Assaraf. The dood. The man. The,… well, our LifeCoach. And,… as an LC (I’m NOT going to keep writing that out!), he and his team of success misfits are going to help us pave the way to success. On ALL fronts. I’m proud of this and look forward to having my butt kicked into the stratosphere. Don’t be shy John, LET ‘ER RIP!!

And, as our excursion finished up in San Diego, we headed back north, hitting “Cozy Mels” in Torrance for a bit of South of the Border Guacamole. Goooood.

What’s next? Writing, Designing, Traveling, Successing… (Not sure that’s a word, but I like it.) And if you want to be successful, too, then stop thinking you can do it all, and get some help. There’s only one Superman and we ain’t him, so for the rest of us Abby Normals, get your Mastermind together and start the ball rollin.’

Gratitooood…

Being a fire sign, I have some interesting virtues. But patience is not one of them. So, as my flames lick into the future (The Studio Shop’s Future) I’m forced to ask for what I want and have relentless faith and belief that whatever happens, it’s right for me. Bummer, eh? ‘Cause like I said, flames like to lick quick.

So, I COULD sit smoldering. But, do I? Naw. There’s no fun in that. So, I move on into uncharted waters to discover new territories to engulf. And since Passion is infectious, and it’s my number one tool, I always have loads in my pocket. Plenty to go around.

Think I’ll write a book on driving…

There’s so much time in a day…

ifo3000-mini-cooper.jpg

…You could have breakfast, lunch and dinner on 3 different continents. You could outline the book you’re going to write, start your screenplay adaptation, and watch “Gone on 60 Seconds,” before the sun even sets. Spend a day at work, and still have 16 hours left over. Or you could just think 10,000 different thoughts as you tool all over in your MINI. Hey, the record for climbing Mt. Everest is under 9 hours, leaving 15 to nap and go Yeti searching.

Point? Make what you do with your time …worth doing. And it should be fun, interesting, exciting, productive…. If not? It’s NOT worth doing.

I’m going to buy chocolate…

One heckava weekend…

img_4390.JPGimg_4311.JPGimg_4317.JPGimg_4362.JPGimg_4376.JPGkathiekarate8.JPG kathiekarate2sml.jpg

You know, success comes from energy, among other things. But energy is movement. And I pride myself on always moving. Now, does this mean I’m successful? In some ways, fer sure, in others, I’m in progress. But this past week and weekend was nothing, if not energetic. Cars, planes, Karate… yes, Karate. As in my wife Kathie smackin’ it up in a whole new style. It wasn’t enough to train with Billy Blanks and get her red belt, she’s gotta start all over in a new style to get the goods from Grandmaster Ho Sik Pak.

So, it was off to the airshow with Andy to see jets a dartin,’ classic cars parked at the Malibu Starbucks for a six shot, the JoyRide Rally yesterday with exotics (The only shot I took was of the Minis pulling in at 7am, doh!) and what else? Oh yea, to Kathie’s first test with Ho Sik Pak. My Dad came along for the fun, (so MY butt wasn’t the only thing that Kathie punted!)

Oh, and the Fireballed! crew is off to Hawaii to build SUPERMINIS. Now, Oahu will have three of the “World’s Fastest.” Finally, quiet in the shop…

WAIT! WHAT’S THIS? 14 MEETING THIS WEEK! WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

And “NEO” heads to a good home…

more_093.jpgSo, the story of “NEO” is now complete as it heads to its new home in Laguna Niguel. What to do now? ELLE? FURY? The MININATOR? Well, whatever it becomes, I should have fun doin’ it.

L2R- Craig Eisenberg, South Bay GM Peter Boesen, Eileen Eisenberg of the John Wayne Institute, Brody (Gary’s cousin), BIG WINNER Gary Goldstein, Hubie’s partial head, Dork,… and Howie Finelt. Red Shirt Day…

Today was a Design Day as I set out to create the scheme for next year’s “THE GREAT RACE.” You know, based on the movie with Tony Curtis? Over 100 cars, 35,000 kilometers across North America, China and Europe. Classics vs. Alternative Fueled cars. Hmm,.. should be interesting since 350 million people will see it. I’ll be handling the Posters, Banner, Swagness and whatever. Doodads as I call them. And the world needs more Doodads…

Tomorrow should be the same, but a little more emphasis on the NAMfilm. Yea guys, I’m still on it. Running a solid 10 minutes, Sam!! And trust me, it’ll be way stoooopid…

Priceless…

kids.JPGSome things are priceless. During the last SeminarBQ, many of you brought ART SUPPLIES to donate to this month’s After School Program, RAINBOW RIVER. And this is my gift you you. A great “Thanks” from all the kids there. There is no more satisfying feeling than instilling the seed of creativity in a child.

So, take it in and feel good. And believe you’re making a difference. ‘Cause you are.

You get what you give…

This was an extraordinary event, put on by extraordinary people. And to give is a feeling unmatched by anything. Strange, as today, after such a powerful experience, I get a call from Brian (Head of Operations @ Fireballed!) that his daughter Amanda, has sold another Limited Edition. Yes folks, the #003 “ODDJOB” has left the building.

It’s a good feeling to create something fun and see it leave with someone else. Pictured are Howard Finelt, Craig Eisenberg, Peter Boesen, Jennifer Osborn, Kathie Lawrence, Dara Finelt and… a couple of wonderful ladies. Interesting contrast in that one, eh?

AND THE WINNER IS…

Brody with “VENOM,” …rollin’ on 20’s.Congratulations to GARY GOLDSTEIN of Laguna Niguel. Winner of the NEO!

Gary and his cousin, Brody of Motoring Underground, came to the SeminarBQ last weekend and bought a ticket for the John Wayne Institute event. Huge MINI fans, they were shocked to hear the news. Photos of the event coming, but here’s Brody with his current ride, VENOM. After a great speech from Larry King, Jamie Lee Curtis pulled the ticket and announced Gary.

More events coming soon from the John Wayne Institute, so if you didn’t win this time, rest assured that not only did your money strengthen the fight to cure cancer, they’ll be another chance to win a cool Carving Machine.

Man, I shoulda bought one….

Yawn…

NEO donated to the John Wayne Auction

Popped outta bed at 5:30am. Off to the shop to grab the FIREBALLED! NEO with my Events Director, Andy Limon. Delivered it to the Beverly Hills Hilton for the John Wayne Cancer Benefit tonight. Some lucky shmo is WINNING THAT CAR TONIGHT!! And I’ll be on the horn tomorrow to let them know who won it. I’ll be filming CarTV as Jamie Lee Curtis yanks the ticket tonight and screams the name. …Okay, maybe she won’t scream it, but the new owner will! And since ALL proceeds go to the JWCI, they can feel pretty darn good.

Made my way back home by 7:30. Convinced I was going to go back to bed, … but no. Instead, it’s into the editing bay for the NAM DRAGON movie. Yea, the guys at NAM wanted me to say hi to the Mini owners attending the Dragon this year. And since I can’t be there, I’ll be there in spirit,… and on vid.

I’ll be at the Hilton ’til midnight, so don’t expect me to get on the horn and expose the winner ’til tomorrow… But, Congratulations! (Yea, you know who you are…)

THE FIREBALL TIM BLOG LIVES!!

…The beginning of trouble. 1973...And, with that said, welcome to the new and improved FIREBALL TIM BLOG. A VAST improvement on the old boneheaded blog, “thanks” to superwebmaster DON BURNSIDE. Yea, you know Don. Mr. White Roof Radio himself. An extremely hard worker in “getting it right, or die tryin.”

And soon to come, the rest of my new site with all kindsa new doodads. Cars, Movies, Toys, Candy… (Not necessarily in that order…) and all the things I consider of the utmost importance. So say “sup” when you stop by and scream “I love cars and chocolate!!”

This will be the place to get a behind the scenes look at Fireballing. From Movie and Show cars, to my wife kickin’ my butt in Karate. More of the cars, I hope… BUT, if I were to choose who best to hang my bag o’ bones in the rafters, that would be Kathie. (She’s training with World Famous Martial Artist, Billy Blanks.) Yea, I know, I’m dead…

So stay tuned daily for absolutely ridiculous behavior… AND LET’S GET ON WITH IT!!
