AHHH! WHAT’S THIS? SOMETHING SLIPPED!
Only a few hours away now and we’re headed down to Huntington Beach to meet the Press and reveal the “Fireballed! MiniUSA Pursuit” for the Finale of Street Tuner Challenge. All around 1pm. So, SERIOUS photos coming today if I can manage to stay awake. We just pulled an all-nighter after 2 weeks of 18 hour days. But,… IT’S FRIKKIN’ AWESOME!!! ….and the TOP SECRET reveal is coming. But for now,… here’s a hint…

Ok, so what that several million people will see me acting like a moron tonight on nationwide TV. So what that I broke a bolt on the first episode (That might have ended up on the cutting room floor), So what that 200 people are coming to the Premiere Party at South bay MINI and the car’s not finished, so what… so what, so, HOLY CRAP!…. I HAVEN’T EVEN FIGURED OUT WHAT I’M GONNA WEAR!!!
So… off I go. Enjoy the show, folks. And rest assured that our MINI is the sickest thing on the planet.
STREET TUNER CHALLENGE WEEK 12… Cruisin4ABruisin…
Well, just 8 days left before we reveal the “World’s Fastest TV MINI” to the Press on the STC Media Day Episode. Episode 1 airs this week on Wednesday and we’re having a slamfest party at South Bay MINI at 6pm. Hope you’ll join us! But with only 8 days, it seems like there’s still 10,000 things left to do. Actually, there 10,583 things left according to our list. But, it if there weren’t anything left, it wouldn’t be Street Tuner CHALLENGE.
So,… here’s the skinny for Week 12….
With all that’s going on, we got a personal visit from Officer Dave Crespin of the Torrance PD. Guess I overstepped my bounds last episode as he ended up taking me away…! But, even with a trip to the pokie, Officer Dave got a sneak peek of the car and reinforced our support of our charity program benefiting families of OUR NATION’S FIRST RESPONDERS. Cool.
Man, they’ve got good grub down at the Torrance slammer…
Andy Limon, my Engineer, got some Community Service for lending me a hand doing my dirty work. Got off easy, the rat!
Menawhile, the boys slammed together the motor. It’s in, and lookin’ like trouble. BIG TROUBLE for our competition.

Week 11. What the heck? Didn’t we just do Week 2? Week 5? Would you believe…. Week 8 and Shoe Phone? (Okay, since THAT made no sense at all,… let’s get into the week.)
Photo 1 has Hot Rod Builder, Mike Michalopoulos cutting some interesting new pieces. They fit on the jahooglewhack which is connected to the parthalmugolator. So, we get extra humplestooges in the fartometer. Or, something like that…. But his boys, Nick and Nate would be proud.

THE TRUE THOUGHT.
In building this car, it’s become far more important than I ever imagined. Not something that is being built to just race and show. It stands for something. An image of creativity, concept, completion and love. And I dedicate it to my beautiful dog, Bandit, that I lost to cancer on Friday. His image will be on the car for the world to see. To know, that love exists in this world. But, when you see this car, and see the photo of him on it, I want you to know that the smallest things can make the largest differences. And he made my life a better place to be in. I will forever miss him.
