Back to the funGRIND…
So, it’s with excitement and eagerness that I get back to the world of fireball and see what’s goin’ on. I hope everyone is having a great holiday so far! What did you get? POST IT HERE, or send me a photo and I’ll stick it up! fireballtimride@aol.com
I got a number of really cool gifts from Kathie this year. A new Fireball Shirt (photo coming), some great books by Charles Haanel (yess, in the never ending search to improve myself) and a couple of huge surprises that I will be revealing soon. She also gave a me a scrapbook featuring my doggie, Bandit. Yes, I cried. But now, Bandit is running the beaches of heaven. Pooping wherever he wants. And round every corner is a new Chef with a new treat. Ahh, the life.
I gave Kathie some cool clothes that she wanted, exotic coffee and a few other doodads. But here big gift was a reverse of the big gift she gave me. Once again, to be revealed. Don’t ya love secrets?
But now that the gift giving is over, it’s my job is to see what Hollywood is doing next. My new FIREBALL SLATE is coming, but for now… I’ll be keeping you up to date on my activities. From FAST AND FURIOUS4 to INDY4 to FINAL DESTINATION4 to JUSTICE LEAGUE. I talk to all the Productions, so you’ll never know what’s coming. For now, just enjoy this…
My Christmas Wish…
To all this Christmas,
It is with humble thanks that I send you this Christmas Wish. I know most of you have little time to read another story this season, but hopefully, it will leave you with a new sense of restored faith and passion for the New Year.
It is Christmas of 2007 and my mother, Nancy, is entering her 76th year. Young by some standards, but old and tremendously wise in spirit. She, in a word, represents the holidays in a way that justifies more than words. But my limited mind can only express my love for her in this way.
A woman of unending passion and grace, having raised five of us after a very challenged and violent upbringing, only to lose one of us 10 years ago. But her spirit still prevails. A career that spanned generations of television writing with my father, Tony, only to be crushed by the influx of younger, “more talented” writers. But her spirit still prevails. And now, a bout with a crippling mind disease leaving her with scattered memories and a lack of understand who I am, yet, this Christmas, she prevails into year 76.
My message here this Holiday Season is simple. We think we know what true strength is. We think we know what Passion and Persistence will bring. We think that small things like traffic and money are worth the irritation…. When the truth and reality is, that our lives here are worth more than we realize. And those around us are worth more than we will ever know.
My Wish for you all this Christmas is to cherish those you love and treat all with unexpected kindness. It starts in the mind, but spreads to the heart, our soul and the world. And since that is where we all are, let our world be filled with joy and love for more than just the holidays. Let it be filled forever.

Do you remember where YOU were when Raiders premiered?
Yea, my life is weird…
Up at 5. Coffee. Meditation. Plunk down in front of my Apple, …that’s a computer- not a fruit. And the day begins. Calls. Emails. Paper shifting. If it’s a shop day, I’m out the door at 6:30. If it’s a day of creating new things, I stay put and… well, create I guess.
Last week was a challenge. Finish a build…, no wait. Finish two builds. A MINI and a LOBSTER. Yes, as in crustacion. (Spelled wrong, I know. There’s more important things than not insulting a Lobster.) Anyway, as you may know, my wife builds weird things for movies and commercials. Sports Teams, too. She’s the best. No, she’s actually rather strangely gifted. So, a gentleman from Discovery Channel called and wanted a Lobster for a new spot. And voila! Kathie slapped one together. (She’d get mad if I put it that way to her, ’cause it was actually very difficult) BUT, on she went for the entire week building this sea creature.
Life, like so many things, is a challenge. Will you rise up for it, or set it aside for another time. We thrive on achieving more because we are human beans. And as Beans, we can get overcooked if we don’t watch out. And what to Beans have to do with what I’m talking about? Nothing, actually. I just like Mexican food and wanted to figure out what I was having for lunch today…
RISE UP! meet your challenge for today. Don’t waste time doing things that don’t lift you. If you must do something simple, do it with everything you’ve got. Be in the present and you’ll grow. Like a bean.

The XSELL #009 Signature Series
Spent the better part of today finishing up on a new customer ride. The “XSELL.” Number 9 in the Signature Series from Fireballed, it’s chock full of Christmas goodies. Don’t know the hp yet, but it’s got just about everything a true MINI owner would want. From the Staged Head, Shrick Cam, K&N CAI, Lightweight Flywheel, kevlar Clutch, Alta Intercooler and a Fireballed Interior and Exterior Treatment including Recaro Leather and a “Styles” Fireball pinstripe. Even super cool Konig Hotswap Wheels. Understated by Fireballed standards, but the Signature Series is about the owner. And this Chrome Rocket is all guts, too. Customer is a really excited Nick Kahrilas of Pacific Palisades. More shots coming soon. Not sure I want to give it up…
