Ten Things I Love about SUMMER…
Actually, it could be a hundred things, but here’s just the way cool ones…
1) BIG movies. Shows that inspire a new creative action, laser pointed anticipation and take you away to other worlds.
2) Empowered Health. Something about the weather just gets your juices flowing. Whatever it is that you do, you just gotta be with friends, get outside and have fun. But being healthy to do that is important, so now’s your time to GET FIT.
3) Attitudes. Everyone just seems a wee bit happier to be alive and share things. Stories, ideas, coffee… I like to try new things like tennis and golf. And since I’m the world’s worst golfer, I can only go up.
4) Internals. All my electronic devices seem to work just a bit better. Why? …have no idea, but maybe it’s because my attitude and thoughts are better. (Refer to #3). I work on a Mac, talk on a Samsung, listen to an iPod, watch and take pix on a Sony and drive a MINI. Done deal.
5) Travel. Now, travel is good any time of the year, but Summer just has the added advantage of great travel or great travel plans. And that’s exactly what I do. Going to Houston with MyRide in May, Mini Takes The States in June, July and August and testing my wife for her Green Belt in Tang Soo Do in Kauai in October. PLAN, BELIEVE, ACT, CONCEIVE. If you don’t “SEE” it, it won’t happen.
6) It’s WARM. And THAT’S a good thing.
7) We all get to go to the beach. Now, if you live in Kansas, that’s a tough one. BUT, refer to #5. AND GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND GO!!
8) Less Clothes. And less clothes is ALWAYS a good thing. 😉 9) Longer Days. Yes, that means dinners on the beach with the sun setting after 8. And that is something to be grateful for, folks! 10) Refer to #1. It’s really cool, so it warrants a double smacker…
The JOURNEY…
It’s with great pride and sincere excitement that I announce that my wife has received her first Black Belt. After 15 years of training under several different masters, schools that closed and re-opened, hardships and turmoil, Kathie tested under Grandmaster Billy Blanks for her Black belt in TAE BO KWON.
Billy is known for his TAE BO products, but is also a World Champion Fighter and has had Martial Arts schools for many years. It was Kathie’s goal to improve her health and raise her confidence. And now she has and become a teacher, like me.
What’s important about this journey is that it really began 5 years ago. Kathie woke up in the middle of the night, not being able to sleep. Went downstairs, turned on the tube and saw an infomercial for the Tae Bo tapes. She bought them and began a domino effect. Tapes led to the discovery that his World Training Center was in LA. She began going, only to discover that he had a Martial Arts School there. She began that as a white belt, although she’d achieved a Green belt in my style of TANG SOO DO.
Her dedication to health and well being led her to a goal that not many complete. Point is… Take the fist step and the next will be revealed. You never know that that one act can change your life forever. One simple thing, done the absolute best it can be done, can move mountains if you let it grow. Follow your insights, as they always, ALWAYS, come from a higher source…
I want the Lambo…
Mmmm… Exotics.
RCX hits with FULL FORCE…
2 days! Insane crowds and crazed RC and car, plane and bike fans! With thanks to CINEMA VEHICLES for bringin’ in the my STREET TUNER CHALLENGE MINI and FLINTSTONES MOBILE, (Chris and Mike!) we met all kinds of great people including passionate families and kids like Evan Medina. Hung out with John Schultz and the boys from HPI RACING, SuperSuperModel MARY RILEY, The Kyosho Girl and hundreds of others. Whoa!
People spent the day racing cool RC Cars, Tanks, Planes, Rockets and had a great time. The STC MINI was a big hit, thousands having seen the show which is currently airing on SPEED for the fourth time!! Whoa2!
It’s a humbling experience to see the passion embodied by all these people. All positive, hanging with their kids and friends and spreading the enthusiasm. Appreciation goes out to Show Promoter, Warren Lucas for doing such a great job and my thanks and gratitude goes out to all who paid me a visit!!
Twins!!!!
Please join me in welcoming two new Fireballers into the world. Makayla and Keilani Sullivan. These two tots belong to MyRide Producer, Mike Sullivan.
Now what’s amazing about these georgeous little girls is that they were born so small that they stayied in the hospital for months. About a pound each, give or take a Hershey’s kiss. But now, they’re finally home and eager to begin their love of cars! So, it’s with great pride that I share my friend’s kids with the world. And with dreams of cars, chocolate, all things girls …a wish for a life of abundance and love.
Oh, and if they grow up to like cars too, that works… NICE JOB, MIKEY AND TRISH! Now let’s see if we can line up a job for them, eh?
Knight Rider to be Fireballed?
Yup. Them’s is the word, folks. In fact, I’ve already started the new concepts with Cinema Vehicles. Now, most of us agree that KN should have been a Camaro, but Ford stepped in and voila, Kitt is now a Mustang. It is what it is and I will do my best to make it awesome. The image above was the first iteration for the pilot. It looks good and was designed by a very good and talented designer. But, there will be a new evolution, and it’s happening now for the Series. Some things you’ve never seen a car do, period. Photos coming as soon as they say it’s ok, (as well as PR) but for now, info is all there is and I’ll be flogged if I reveal any more.

Fireball Weekend ROLLERCOASTER…
Yea, a lot can happen in a weekend. Screech, Boom, Bam! And like most weekends in the California sun, it has to do with cars. Well, …bikes too.
At any given time, you can get reminded of what’s important. A chance to reflect about what’s working in your life and what isn’t. It may happen at a Car Show, it may happen when you walk down the street. But one thing’s for sure. It happens.
The Village Coffee Roaster Show happens every Sunday. Calabasas, California. Yea, a funny name, but an off the chart show. Daimlers, Mustangs, CanAms. Yea, the typical stuff you see just toodlin’ around the streets, right? Hm.
Then, you come home and see a Harley, having been broadsided by a POS. No, they weren’t seriously hurt. Just their egos. Makes you think. Better do what I’m gonna do NOW. And not wait.
But, a celebration, too. I’ll now be working heavily with CINEMA VEHICLES. On a new TV Show. What is it? You’ll have to subscribe to the blog to find out… But, to give you a hint… it’s black. And scaweeeeee…….
Crooked is COOL…
If you want to have fun, get crooked…
MINI spotting…
This, from my buddy Larry Champlain in New Jersey. Passion……in motoring. Cool.
“Prior to my 2007, I had a 2004 Mini as well. I had always admired the style, the reliability and SPEED. When I had purchased my 2007 Mini Cooper, my best friend had purchased one as well. At that point it was a fun competitive game for the both of us as to who would do what to their car first. We were both in touch with the most current updates and modifications. We both researched performance and style modifications. Pretty soon, we were changing seats, upgrading motor parts, JCW, decals, and much more. My goal at that point was to get the “Best Mini” I had joined.PhillyMini.org. In the summer of 2007, my Mini was voted the “Best Mini” at one of the rallies I had attended. I felt a huge accomplishment in making it the best performing and looking vehicle in the Mini World. My car sounds great, looks great and drives great. I receive quite a few compliments and stares as I drive by. I am proud to be a Mini owner and show it!”
