Keep it moving PEOPLE…

Fireball at Crystal Cove

It’s tough to stay motivated. Especailly when you’re constatntly being reminded how bad things are. The economy, bills, annoying people, whatever. It takes all your energy just to stay positive, but that effort isn’t in vain.

A lot is going on in my world right now, but most of it in an incubating period. It’s tough because I fight patience every day. An angst of hurry that seems to follow me wherever I go. I write about it here because I know a lot of you are feeling the same way.

What helps me is to STOP. Realize I have a purpose and have more than enough time to finish everything I need to finish. I remember this quote from on of my favorite authors, Wallace Wattles…

“Only the most complete use of your present environment will place you in a more desirable one.”

What this means evokes the question, am I doing everything thing I can to the fullest? …Honestly asking. And if I am, then if I’m doing everything I can, it’s enough. Realize that we all have a purpose and that purpose is being fulfilled.

It doesn’t matter what you believe in, what church you go to, what color your hair is, if you have a funny name. When the chips are down, it’s a test. A test of will. You pass by doing everything you can in a certain way.

Express patience. Having patience cultivates faith, and a strong faith is a belief that what you can’t see is true. Our future as individuals and as a country is bright, so ignore the media and your own negative thoughts. (Actually, your world can be bright RIGHT NOW.)

Do what you love in the best way that you can, and rely on faith and gratitude to fulfill the rest of what you don’t know. Oh, and have a little chocolate. That helps, too.
