MOTOR PRESS GUILD Event at the Petersen Museum…

The other night I went to the Petersen Museum for a cool event put on by Motor Press Guild. A “designer’s forum” where I got to hang out with truly awesome visionaries. (Uncle Joe and I just ate the chocolate brownies…) But, if you didn’t know it, The gent to my right is Frank Stephenson, designer of the MINI Cooper, many Ferraris and now Chief Designer for McLaren. In my opinion, one of the best designers currently on the planet.

Also there was Troy Sumitomo of Five:Axis, Jim Shaw (Engineer for Bentley), Jason Hill of Eleven (Designer of the Porsche Carrera GT).  They all spoke about what it’s like to create dream machines.

My partner Sal was awestruck at how his Ferrari F50 suddenly appeared in the show. 😉

All in all, a great time.
