Croatian RIMAC CONCEPT ONE is quiet…

Limited to 88 builds and at a cost of $990,000… each. Ouch.

The Rimac Concept One has an Electric Powerplant that has four sub-systems, each with one motor, inverter and reduction gearbox. Each of the four motors powers a wheel. Combined output is 1,073hp and 1,180 lb-ft. Not so ouch.

It weighs in at 3,638 lbs and can hit 62mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 190mph. And the battery range is 373 miles! Now were talking.’

A carbon-fiber body designed by Adriano Mudri while the interior is by Ex- Pininfarina employees. To me the design is the least interesting thing about this car. It isn’t bad… but isn’t that innovative either. What do you think?
