BACK EAST… New Jersey DAY 1-3 #NewJersey #Jersey #EastCoast @njlocal @BestofNJ @NewJerseyPlaces @VirginAmerica

As I forgot the cable to upload photos for this trip, today begins a quick view into how it went over the last 9 days. Day 1-3, we grabbed a fantastic flight from VIRGIN AMERICA (No line!) out of LAX and landed, lickety-split in Newark. On the plane, the food was awesome and the team were pros, even when I spilled my YooHoo on myself. BWA!

A quick train ride and we were at the home of Kathie’s sister, Susi in Ramsey. Hung out with her son and nephew Erik and doggie Shadow. Both very cool and had a blast eating food that was bad for us.

Now, I’ve been to Jersey many times, but mostly during the winter months. And I froze things that I didn’t think would actually freeze, but September brought the beauty like only the East Coast could. The trees, grass and sunlight were tremendous. But what did I learn on these few days before I hit NY? Just that…

1. Jersey is beautiful.

2. The town was Ramsey and the lushness was in full bloom. (But soon the trees will flick their leaves and the coldness will come, but if you plan on taking a trip there, this month works well into October and the color change.)

3. Cars are things people use to drive in. Didn’t see 1 car that was either modified, painted and changed in any way. Did see a Mazda with a flat tire though.

4. People in Jersey are cool and they love their small towns. Trains are clean and not crowded. Next up,, NYC!
