Thursday, and I was at the shop doin’ ma thang. And lo! There were cool cars a piddlin’ everywhere! I had a meeting with people I can’t mention about a new show that I can’t mention. BUT, I can show you some cool cars for the week…
One of Barris’ classic beach buggies appeared out of nowhere, along with several cool classics, Police Car in the paint booth, GEM cars, the original #1 hero General Lee from the TV Show and a host of quirky others including several Police cars for the 8th Season of “24.” LOVE THAT SHOW!
My life sucks… OH! And I’m bringing this cool orange caddy to the HB Show next weekend! Yes, it’s BIG and ORANGE. Like my hair.

Spent the day yesterday filming a new show for Discovery Channel at CVS. “The World’s Most Expensive Rides.” Talking about cheapie cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO, Mercedes SLR, Ronn Scorpion and about 20 others. You know, all the cars I DON’T have in my garage…
Lots of fun, though. Great group of guys from KAOS Entertainment. They did an awesome job making me look snappy. ‘Course, the train going by every two minutes was fun, too.
It airs sometime this year. Cool.

It’s nice when cars come out of the shop finished and sit for a bit. This was partially built by another shop but I enjoy when I get a chance to go through them with a fine tooth comb to study. The FF4 Charger Photo Dissection…

Why is Nicholas Cage’s million dollar Rolls sitting in the shop? That’s what I thought when I “rolled” in. Well, cuz he has a new movie coming and we’re building two extras. One as a stunt car, and one to…
…BLOW UP.
Ouchy. But that’s what CVS does. Build it, blow it to smithereens.
As I walked the shop, I saw several new cars that Ray brought in from a sale at Paramount. The vans that Tom Cruise drove from “WAR OF THE WORLDS,” several kookie Czeck cars and one of my favorites,… a Ford Saloon. This was the first die-cast that Corgi made. It’s awesome. I want to fully restore her and take her for a spin up PCH.
Oh, and today’s my Mom’s birthday. Family coming over to celebrate. She’s been gone for a short time now and it’s still tough. But we made her a Carrot Cake which she loved. That would have made her happy. …More later.

A tremendous amount of history in this car. But now it needs a new home and a fresh start. Anyone interested in a PROJECT MINI, the Mach 3 is now available on Ebay with more than 20K worth of mods. It does have some hurdles to be overcome, but for a car that was covered in 20 mags and has been on TV and was show car for the past 5 years, it’s a steal. (The new Recaros are worth 5K alone!)
Today, I’m grabbing one of the cars from Fast and Furious for one heck of a weekend. Friday brings a Premiere of a new film, “The First, Last Race,” from my buddy Jeff Jensen which we had as a guest on THCS a few weeks back. Saturday is a Smart Car Event HERE, Sunday is the VCR Show and Sunday afternoon is a cool Oscar Party.
So, I’m gonna roar this beast all over the place. And if I get a chance to meet up with any of your at the shows, ask me what I’ve got in the trunk. No, no dead bodies this time, but I’ve got free shirts!
Ok, maybe a couple of corpses… but I didn’t put them there.
THE HOLLYWOOD CAR SHOW Episode 21 this Saturday!!

Yea, it helps to understand that yesterday was a holiday. If you didn’t, like me, then you probably were wondering where the mail was? Or why there was very little email (150 is small for me). Or why the phone didn’t ring much? Yea, got to pay attention a bit more, doh.
Haven’t been on this site below for a while, so I thought I’d bring it up to speed a bit. YELP! A great place to share reviews about all cool things in your town. Check it out and create a profile for yourself. Fun, and it helps others.
Episode #21 of The Hollywood Car Show recording tomorrow. Airs this coming weekend. Things are happening fast in this town, so we had to skip a week to create a great show. Plus, Friday is almost here and you’ll see a new episode of something really cool on Streetfire, Jalopnik and possibly Autoblog for the new film Fast&Furious. The EVO will be in my hands all weekend, with a number of events. Come say “hi” if you see me.
Saw a couple of movies with cool cars over the weekend. Can you recognize these?

Whoa! THAT’S SICK!!! Came walkin’ into the shop and there she was… THE 4 HEEL DRIVE from “The Flintstones” Movie. As well as our cool black Gran National from Fast and Furious 4.
But why do we have the 4 Heel Drive? …Cuz it’s cool, duh. No,… actually because we’re takin’ it to a show on Saturday. The Hollywood Collectors Show. Yes, I’ll be signin’ stuff at the show for those that thinks CARS ARE COOL! EVEN ONES MADE OUTTA SKULLS!!! WWAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Below, I stuck in a silly little Hummer I saw today. No big deal, ……JUST DRIVING ON TRACTOR TREADS!!!!! THAT’S RIDICULOUS!!!!
Ok, I need to calm down and go get a triple latte….

Just finished recording Episode #20 of “The Hollywood Car Show” with db and I must say, it is definitely one of our better episodes. We’ve got a great interview, way cool new movies and cars galore. Comin’ Saturday.
Spent the day workin’ on quite a few things. Updating my Streetfire Page, workin’ on the books and had a great convo with Art Center College. I’ll be doing a Seminar there soon. Even went to Starbucks and had what I would call a Milk Hot Chokolatte. It’s a Hot Vanilla with a half shot of chocolate syrup. Nice.
Plus, about ten thousand smaller things… Tomorrow, I head to CVS to pick up a cool car for a show this weekend in Calabasas. The VCR. You’ll have to listen to THCS to see what it is… okay, dang, twist my leg, why don’t you. It’s this…

Recognize this? Probably not, but it’s gonna be famous soon. As in April 3rd. As in FAST & FURIOUS. This beast has a major role, so you’ll see plenty of it. And just a few things hangin’ out at the shop.
Spent the day shooting with STREETFIRE.net for an upcoming episode launched from Jalopnik. I’ll talk more about in on Episode #20 from THCS at the end of this week. It was crazy. Spun 9 cars and my head kept spinning. But the footage is gonna be awesome. The videos will be luanch around February 21st.
