What are we doing today on the REDSTER?
Glass, Pinstriping, Engine Mods, Wheels, Tires and about 10,000 other things! OMG!!! This is turning out to be the coolest ride of the Century, and it’s only 2010!!! Okay, so I have 90 more years to do something better, but it’s gonna be tough after this one.
And for the next 2 days, your assignment is… Go to AutoTrader Classics and buy yourself a ride!
Stay tuned here for EXCLUSIVE SHOTS of the REDSTER REVEAL PARTY!!

Only four days left before we reveal THE AUTOTRADER CLASSICS REDSTER to the Press. And it’s gonna be a really Big shoe. We’re looking at several hundred people coming to the shop. And celebrities galore. Are we done?
Are you kidding? Today, there’ll be no less than twenty people working on the vehicle at different times of the day. From Pinstriping to wheels and everything in between. We even have to fit the ULTRAFLUX GIGANTORAMOUS. And that takes a long time!
Can I show you what it looks like? Sure. Only, don’t tell anyone…

I told you it was a really big shoe…. If you got an invite, we’ll see you there. If not, prepare for coolness coming.
August 28th marks the WORLD PREMIERE of the AutoTrader Classics REDSTER…
What is it???

Shooting a commercial is always fun. Especially when there’s cool cars. And this shoot was no different…
My partner JF headed to Mission Viejo for a 6am call to hang with AutoTrader Classics Head Honcho, Don Dixon. And after 12 cups of coffee, they rolled cameras. (That’s a joke, Don. I know it was only 8 cups…)
But, since cars are our thing, we had expert car delivery guru Chris from CVS bring down some cool rides for the shoot. A smokin’ blue Chevy Malibu SS Convertible and a $140K Shelby Mustang!
What’s the spot gonna look like? Well, with cars like these, they can’t go wrong. I had Chris deliver the Mustang back to my place..
Cat’s outta the bag. But what is it exactly??
So there I was, minding my own business when KNOCK, KNOCK!
And boom, AutoTrader Classics big wig Don Dixon appears at the shop. (Well, we actually had a meeting scheduled because Don’s a buddy and we’re doing something cool. But that wouldn’t sound as cool. Or,… does it?) What are we doing, talking with AutoTrader Classics?
Ahh, the question… Well, that can’t be answered just yet, but very soon. So, as we discussed things, (See how I side skirted that all together? I’m so shifty…) Don decided he wanted to “steal” our Flintstones Masarocki out of the shop! But, I caught him. Otherwise, he would have tried to escape. And then the car would be in the mag. He’s very focused, you know.
Then! He decided he was ready for his close up. And since we have all the Academy Award statues from the last awards show, he got a snapshot. Oooo, that nutty guy.
Anyway, Don loves cars. And that’s why we’re hangin’ out at the shop. Something this way comes… and comes it soon.
