Bring it…
With vehicles like these, who needs a story?

A cohesive movie… is cohesive on a lot of levels. Or, at least should be.
TRON LEGACY seems to be shaping up to be a good example or this. All the images we’ve seen look “slick.” Watery, liquidy, smooth, contrasting. At least in the Tron World. Outside, in the real world, it’s gritty and “left over.” It’s a good contrast.
Movie design is most effective when you can emerge the viewer slowly into a world without them realizing it. The reason why Superhero movies are most interesting as you watch the superhero actually become the hero. Once he’s that, it’s a more difficult task to get the eyeballs interested.
Prepare for SLICK.
Walt Disney Pictures has hired the two writers from “Lost” to write Tron 3! Good news, because Tron Legacy did so well…. oh wait, Tron Legacy isn’t even out yet!
Seems Disney thinks that the LightCycles will sell well through Harley Davidson. Oops. Did I just reveal something? Um, I mean through Segway. Yea, that’s better.
Now THAT would be awesome. At any rate, Disney seems pretty confident that Tron Legacy will knock our socks off. I’m there. Especially if I get a FREE Lightcycle through Fruit Loops!
Coming to theaters on December 17th 2010.
Bikes, Cars, Girls, ACTION! Like, does a movie need anything else? Ok fine… someone get the popcorn.
Ahhh, yellow. I’m going to buy one of these when they show up at the dealership. I could ride it to SEMA in Vegas at night. That would be cool.
Oh, oh,… and I could stop for a Mountain Dew at a Del Taco drive-thru. OMG!!! Perfect color for this bike!!! (Course, with the helmet, it might be a challenge to slurp, but hey… those are the serious challenges of life.) Then… off to Vegas, baby. Who’s comin??
From First Showing comes the first “TRON LEGACY” Trailer. Now, a clear picture of the Lightcycles in action. These bikes are outta control, and it looks like Jeff Bridges is, too. Check it out…
