Nothing brings a truly BETTER LIFE than CLASSIC COOL CARS…

ALL NEW FIREBALL SKETCH is coming tomorrow, but for now… it’s clear to all of us that if you want to improve your life… you need to get into CLASSIC COOL. But that can mean different things to different people. So…

Whether it’s CLOTHING, FOOD, TRAVEL or CARS, CLASSIC COOL is about “feeling.” How does it feel to infuse things into your life that make you feel good? And FEELING GOOD about LIFE is the secret to a GOOD LIFE. (And you know that others who constantly complain… get MORE to complain about.)

So today, we celebrate CLASSIC COOL with these Hot Fireball Classics for YOUR GARAGE, SHOP, KITCHEN or whatever! The infamous GTO, MOPAR SUPERBIRD, CLASSIC LINCOLN or ’59 CADDY! The Caddy now comes as a GARAGE CLOCK too! There are many more in the Garage so pick your favorite! And if you don’t see what you like, Commission Fireball to DO IT UP!

DID YOU KNOW?? 1959 was a record breaker! All Cadillacs were a mighty 225 inches long (longer yet on the Seventy-Five limousine and nine-passenger sedan), with a 130 inch wheelbase. The Series 62, now more commonly referred to as the 6200, remained the least-expensive Cadillac. It was $4,200 bucks and weigh in at a whopping 4700+ pounds! It was one of the most fascinating car designs of the 1950’s and were designed under the direction of the late Bill Mitchell, Chuck Jordan and Dave Holls.

Legendary BLUES BROTHERS SKETCH crashes the Fireball Garage!

This one’s been a long time coming… One of the BEST FILMS IN HISTORY for sure on many levels, but THE BLUES BROTHERS shifted an entire movie going generation to the value of MUSIC in FILM, Automotive Action and FOCUSED INTENTION. These guys were “ON A MISSION FROM GOD.”

I remember seeing this film in 1980 when I was 15. It cemented my desire to design cars for films and made me BELIEVE in the power of MUSIC in story-telling. Absolute GENIUS. But the car chase, man… the car chase. One of the BEST ever FILMED.

Today, we celebrate THE BLUES BROTHERS BLUESMOBILE in the Fireball Tim Garage as an ode to all things COOL. The car was a 1974 DODGE MONACO SEDAN and became an instant icon, driving sales for Dodge and making us all want to beat the crap outta our cars. Get this one on a LARGER CANVAS NOW!!

DID YOU KNOW?? No SPFX. “It was all real,” said director John Landis. The Filmmakers flew in 40 stunt drivers every weekend and used 13 different Bluesmobiles, including five for filming John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as they portrayed Jake and Elwood Blues driving about town.

BONUS SKETCHES!! Concepts, Art Talk and Mother’s Day LAUNCH!

Great mix of stuff today, starting with some CONCEPTS. Anyone who says they are NOT creative is bolonie (Boloney? Bologna??). We are CREATIVE BEINGS and our job here on THE MARBLE is to GET SHIT DONE. If you can make an awesome Cheeseburger, then you’re creative. If you can build a business, you’re creative. If you can draw, paint, sculpt, take pictures or design your next vacation, you’re creative. The goal is to feed the RIGHT WOLF.

Just a couple of CONCEPTS here, but listen up to today’s ART TALK LIVE to get your juices flowin!’ PLUS, MOM’S DAY is coming up and there’s coolness IN THE GARAGE! If you’re a MOM, then we love you, period. But why be a regular Mom when you can be a SUPERMOM!! Git on it!

ALL NEW SKETCH TOMORROW!!!

Even COPS need COOL CUSTOM CARS to stop CRIME…

One of the most difficult jobs on the planets nowadays is LAW ENFORCEMENT. Maybe it’s because the internet posts so many variations on COPS at WORK. (And it’s super easy to skew the direction of a video.) But the truth is that Police Academies are dwindling and society needs those to enforce laws so that we can be SAFE and have a good life.

Like any job tho… some people are good at it and some aren’t. But in order for us to have a good life… we have to THINK GOOD and stop criticizing those that suck at their jobs. Criticism doesn’t do anything but affect US. What you think about… EXPANDS IN YOUR LIFE. So let it go and let’s just concentrate on COOL CARS!

Today, we celebrate the GOOD COPS in TV and FILM. Our heroes that show us that being good at your job is heroic, tough and cool. And we LOVE THEM. Fortunately, there’s been a LOT of good shows over the years and good cops always win out… even when bad cops are on the take! But check out these LAW ENFORCEMENT babies in the Garage and pick your fav for YOUR Garage Wall!

DID YOU KNOW?? Since the 60’s, there have been hundreds COP SHOWS produced and hundreds that never made it past the Pilots! (And Fireball Pop wrote for nearly all of them!) But the MOST POPULAR was “HILL STREET BLUES!” What was YOUR favorite? LEAVE A COMMENT!

** Don’t forget to watch Fireball’s Podcast ART TALK LIVE from his Facebook Page and 8am)pst) M/W/F!

BONUS SKETCHES!! James Bond Porsche, ZZ Top and PINK MOKE!

I’ve worked on a lot of films over the years. And as cool as that may be, some of them never made it to the Silver Screen. Case in point… “SPY JINX.”

SPY JINX was an amazing concept and a great script. Basically, JAMES BOND meets LOONEY TUNES. Everything was shot in the real world, except for the Looney Tunes characters, and it was a Spy Thriller! Kinda… My job was to design the vehicles and I had a blast doing it over several months. Unfortunately, the plug was pulled and SPY JINX became SPY JAM. Same thing, but with a Basketball theme. Wait, what??

And that’s when things started to go south. Turned out that the studio wanted to do something with Shaq. THEN… they pulled the plug on that one and the movie became it’s final rendition, “LOONEY TUNES BACK IN ACTION.” And… it tanked. (Should stuck with the cars, folks.)

Today’s SKETCH was one of the original SPY CARS. A PORSCHE that folded, tweaked, turned and squeezed into all sorts of things. An extreme Bond Car that woulda been awesome. But noooooo…. All we got was this silly Fireball SKETCH. Oh well, lets move on…

SKETCH TWO I did for the Official WRENCH NATION Coloring Book! Billy Gibbons from ZZTOP and his CadZILLA. I think I really need to whipsnap some color on this one!

Hope you guys had a great weekend! Also, here’s me and singer JENNIFER MESSINA in Malibu with a PINK MOKE! Check out Jenn’s amazing work on her IG and her ROLLS ROYCE in the Fireball Garage!

THINK AWESOME… and your week will be SO! See you on ART TALK LIVE tomorrow at 8am(pst)

DID YOU KNOW?? The henchman that Sean Connery fights during the YOLT break-in is Peter Maivia, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson’s grandfather!

Hollywood ROBOTS and SPACESHIPS invade Fireball’s Garage…

As many of you know, I’m a Concept Artist in the film industry… when there’s no STRIKES happening! But when there is, I’m in the Garage trying to create cool stuff for you guys. My job in Hollywood is to design CARS, WEAPONS & WORLDS… and many time, ROBOTS & SPACESHIPS! Been doing this for 40 years. But why let Tinseltown get all that cool stuff?

Thus… welcome to the FIREBALL TIM GARAGE where you’ll find HUNDREDS of CARS and MOVIE coolness on Mugs, Prints, Shirts and SO MUCH MORE that it’ll make you Robot Head spin! And today, we celebrate GOOD AND EVIL Robots and Flying CRAFTS of all sorts. I’ll be doing many more of these in ’24 as there have been so many great ones created over the years. What’s YOUR FAVORITE? Do you see it here? If not, LEAVE A COMMENT and maybe I’ll do it up! As always, I’m up for Commissions as well.

DID YOU KNOW?? The JETSONS took place in 2062, exactly 100 years ahead of the show premiere in 1962! As hard as it is to believe, but The Jetsons only originally ran for 24 episodes, from 1962–63. If you grew up watching reruns over the next couple of decades, you were seeing the same stuff recycled again and again. (The cartoon was revived for 51 more episodes in 1985.) The cancellation could have been attributed to the lack of color TV sets — the future just wasn’t as spectacular in black & white — but likely had more to do with competition. The show was up against Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color and Dennis the Menace, fighting for the same Sunday family demographic. Also… ASTRO had the same voice as SCOOBY-DOO. It was on The Jetsons that Don Messick “Rerfected Ris Roice Rith Rall the R’s. Scooby would not come along until 1969.

BONUS SKETCHES! Cocaine Hummer, 911RS and CYBERTRUCKS!

Thank God the rain didn’t come for this morning’s COUNTY LINE CARS & COFFEE. But before we get to that, check out the HUMMER I did for the film “SON OF THE MASK.” This was early on in the concept phase when budget wasn’t an issue. The Director wanted Jamie Kennedy to drive this HUMMER at first… and it had to be hopped up on COKE. (Not the drink, folks.)

But as time went on, the MASK MUSCLE CAR appeared and won the studio over.

SECOND UP is a 1973 Porsche 911RS I did for SPIKE FERESTEN. There’s a color version of this too here, but what color would YOU have made it? You can get this one on a CANVAS PRINT now, so snag ‘er up!

LASTLY, Best in Show shots from today’s County Line Cars & Coffee… with TWO CYBERBEASTS pulling in. Love it or hate it, it’s BIG and would work well for a Movie Car. It’s n the Garage here, but would look good in an actual COLOR too. But what color??

DID YOU KNOW?? There is not even a single curve in the Cybertruck’s design. This one… you REALLY CAN cook an egg on!

Fireball’s epic TOP SELLERS are FAN FAVORITES of the WEEK!

A HUGE THANK YOU to those that snagged these CUSTOM CAR ART images in the Garage on MUGS, CANVAS’ & SHIRTS this week! Pretty clear that you guys love CLASSIC TV & FILM, so I’ll be doing a lot more images in ’24! WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE? What shows NEEDS TO BE DONE?? And as always, Commissions are OPEN if you want a special GIFT for someone who LOVES CARS & CLASSIC CINEMA!

It’s a neck n’ neck race with some of the other SKETCHES too, including my TV POP CULTURE Series. Check ’em out and tell me what’s missing! NEW ART coming this week!!

DID YOU KNOW?? Nate “Happy” Derman played wolf-boy Eddie Munster in the pilot, but his growling, clawing characterization was a little too lycanthropic for the network’s taste. He was replaced by my friend Butch Patrick, who played Eddie more like a pointy-eared version of Tony Dow’s Beaver Cleaver!

BONUS SKETCHES! Concept, Vettes on the Moon and ART TALK!

Whenever I get a a chance to develop ideas, I draw. It was something my mentor SYD MEAD told me many years ago. Drawing (or anything creative) puts you in the PRESENT MOMENT. And this is the ONLY place where ideas are created and solved. But not just creative actions… as SPORTS can do this too… if “your head is in the game,” as they say.

FIRST SKETCH up is a concept unibox with tweeked proportions. Toy-like, but it adds personality without making it look TOO MUCH like a toy. This could be a background car in a film, slightly intimating if brutalized a bit. Might have to explore this more…

SECOND is a sketch from my original VETTE Coloring Book on B&N here. Had some fun with controversial conspiracy theories. Is there a VETTE on the Moon? Ask MUSK. He’ll know. And spot any Easter Eggs?

Did you miss today’s Podcast ART TALK LIVE?? I go into solving the answer as to why SUCCESS creates MORE SUCCESS. Catch it here!
