The LADIES OF THE 2012 LAAS bring elegance…

The attitude at this year’s LAAS from the ladies was very positive. No hoyty toytyness here. They were having a good time… and how could you blame them what with all the cool cars around? But the winning ladies were the girls of FISKER. Congrats on making the show a fun place.

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – Lexus LF-CC and LF-LC

Lexus is smokin’ hot at this year’s show with the new LF-CC and repaint on LF-LC Concepts. There seems to be no limit to their thinking as they sculpt some heavy design language throughout.

You can also see the “shared” cohesion with Toyota a bit, but these are much stronger. Now… how do I get these in my garage without anyone noticing that they’re missing?

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – The BMW i3 and i8 Spyder…

BMW is rockin’ and rollin’ with their concept cars. The i8 Spyder (above), off the heels of the i8 Coupe, is really unique. Got a chance to get up close which is why Press Days are so important. We couldn’t sit in these, as BMW isn’t that stupid. I tend to have sharp objects in my back pocket (for stealing cookies and things like that, yo), but the free flowing form on this one was truly inspiring.

The new i3 concept is more of a commuter. I like not knowing that much of the tech details of these cars because it’s really about emotion. How does this car make you feel, I enjoy asking. So…

What do YOU guys think?

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – The Acura NSX…

Acura is poised to launch their new NSX soon. A concept car that really isn’t one, ’cause this is it. Stunning hard edged styling cues throughout position this baby to lead the pack, until softer design comes back… which will be soon and you’ll see with what Lexus is doing. But this is a beauty.

Today? FULL JOY, MASTER CHEIF!!

Jumpin’ in my top secret Bat Prius (Actually, it’s a Hyundai Elantra GT) and heading down to the LA Auto Show at 8am for a breakfast ceremony. How can they have a ceremony at breakfast? That’s just weird. But it’s ALL CARS, ALL DAY, PEOPLE!

I’ll be Instagrammin, Foursquaring, Twittering, Blogging, Facebooking and… eating, I guess. Stay tooooned…
