New DARK KNIGHT RISES Batwing and Batman toys look lame-o…

Somehow, this doesn’t excite me all that much. Are toys becoming too plastic-ee? I seem to remember toys as a kid being somewhat indestructible… and this looks like it would last a few days in the hands of an aggressive 8-year old “Playgineer.”

And Batman? He’s kinda lame, too. Pretty sure my son’s “Deep Dive Batman” was cooler. But I’m sure the movie will rock my frikkin’ socks.

Hot Wheels preps THE DARK KNIGHT VEHICLES…

Yup, toys don’t just come in full size from the movies. They gotta make the tiny ones, too. And these BatVehicles are on their way from Hot Wheels covering the new DARK KNIGHT RISES. If you haven’t seen the trailer… Then WATCH.

Hollywood Doodads: Avengers, Dark Knight, Haywire, Trek

What are Doodads?

Bits of Hollywood and Cars rolled into a soft warm burrito. Ok… that was weird. BUT! Here’s some posters from AVENGERS, a DARK KNIGHT Motorcycle Suit, Poster from Steven Soderbergh’s HAYWIRE and a Trek Mailbox to boot. Done and done…

SET SHOTS! Full Catwoman Costume revealed….

Finally, Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman has been let outta the bag. These set photos reveal… well, she’s in black. Like that’s a surprise, but she looks pretty snappy on that batpod. Although, I think she’d have a time of it trying to get out if she found herself in need of a swim, eh? Unless… she’s got black wundies?

Just sayin…’

More CATWOMAN images from Dark Knight Rises…

Nothin’ better than great curves on a bike, but I wouldn’t say that to her face or she may lay the smackdown on your sinus.’ (Nice visual, eh?)

ComicCon Vehicles begin appearing…

Lots of cool vehicle stuff coming out of ComicCon in San Diego. And that brings to mind that from now on, EVERY Superhero MUST have a vehicle. This IS THE LAW. Just sayin…’

And check out the Back to the Future 3 Delorean! That looks familiar…

BATBIKE lays down the hurt…

A trend? Is it a trend that all superhero movies are becoming grittier and darker? Or is it finally revealing the “truth” in human nature? The darkness trying to express itself to light?

Well, let’s not get all psychological, doods and doodettes! Let’s just enjoy the fact that if the trend holds, we’ll see some serious machines driven by the world’s baddest… And expect the Dark Knight to rise to the occasion.
