NEW EPISODE! New Teeth… Watch us get drilled!!! HAHAHA!!!!!

DSC09468

Here’s a filler episode we did recently on our trip to see Doc Wood up in Oregon. Mister Dental Genius of Dixon Creek Dental!! It was awesome.

If going to the dentist makes you queasy, then don’t watch! On the other hand, just grab a small baggie in case you blow chunks. It’s funny…

CRAZY WEEK ahead is full of COOLNESS…

Bug

Yea, it’s one of those weeks, for sure. Here at The Fireball Pad, there’s all kinds of stuff goin’ on. Malibu is a place for creative activity and it’s fun & rewarding. So let’s get to it…

Heading out this morning early to take the FISKER KARMA back. But this time, Kathie, Scott Robertson and Daniel Simon are coming for a grand tour of the facility in Anaheim. Behind the scenes if you will, but after having this car for a week, it should be an incredible time. Gonna see what Alex Klatt (Chief Designer) is up to for the future of the car company. Did a photo shoot of the car at Free Beach near Pt. Dume yesterday with the sun going down. It was awesome… Review coming later this week.

Back here at the Pad, Kathie has started on a special top-secret costume for the SUPERBOWL. Yea, small job. 😉 But when it’s done, you’ll know it couldn’t have been for anything else and it ships Friday.

BUG got a trim yesterday. Not happy. Made me think of how difficult it must be for surgeons. Although thier patient isn’t moving around all the time, so they actually have it easy. And… get paid a whopping amount. So…

I am now offering my services to trim your dog for only $36K. Each. I know it’s a bit high, but I have to figure out a way to recycle all that hair. Cha. Just email me for an appointment.

Off the heels of the event over the weekend at DSP, my first Book Signing is happening in Malibu at DIESEL. And BIG THANKS to Malibu’s The Godmother, as she’s gonna be baking some of the most incredible cookies on the planet for guests! (Check out here site.) Lots to prepare for you guys and I hope that some of you can make it because it’s gonna be a blast! Malibu Surfside News is pumpin’ an article to go with the event, so BIG THANKS to them, too. Regardless of which paper/blog you write for, the bigger picture is that Malibuites work together to create cool stuff. And that’s why this town rocks.

The 2013 Cadillac ATS comes in later this week. One of the most powerful Caddys ever built. Let’s hope it comes in red… 😉

Christopher Hubbard from 37 Degree Filters is down in LA for some future discussion about the brand and the Lifetime Oil Filter. So grateful to be involved with a company that is so passionate about cleanin’ up the plaent. But before we talk, he’s in dire need of a phoney baloney sandwich @ John’s Garden. Best sandwich on the planet if you haven’t had it yet.

Seem like a lot? It’s only Monday doods and doodettes. Just wait until tomorrow…

An OIL FILTER you never have to change… EVER

There are many things to be proud of in this world that we do. Our kids…, our achievements…, our friends and family. And sometimes you get an opportunity to work with a group committed to turning things upside-down.  That can piss off a lot of people, but since change is the only constant in this world, you can be sure that if you don’t get on board, you’ll be left behind.

For the last 100 years, oil filters on cars haven’t changed much, if at all. They soak up the oil with the paper inside on the first go-round with the motor and pretty much wasted until you have to change them at 3000 miles. But by then, your oil is black as night having traveled through your engine for the last 2000 miles. And yes, that can add up to a lot of filters over the life of the car. 33 filters over 100,000 miles. And at about $10 or so a-piece, that’s $330 bucks for an item that doesn’t work very well. But there’s more…

What happens to those filters when you remove them?

They go into landfills by the bagillions. Millions of cars at 33 filters equal millions of filters in landfills over the last hundred years. Hundreds of millions, actually. And we’re not even talking about the oil left inside them! Millions of gallons of dirty oil  seeps into the Earth, obliterating any chance of life there. It’s pretty awful when you get your head around it, not to mention irresponsible.

But hey… you didn’t know, right?

There is an answer. Several years ago I met a passionate man who was eager to make a difference in how the world saw these filters. He had an idea to pull a switch, but it would take time and money. So, over the next 4 years, he got exactly that. Christopher Hubbard designed the LIFETIME OIL FILTER and premiered it at SEMA in Las Vegas. The result was a phenomenon born from his love of our planet and how to make it cooler.

Since then, the company has changed its name to 37DEGREE FILTERS so that the Lifetime Oil Filter could be one of many green automotive products they are developing. And I’m proud to say that I’m now a part of that mission.

The Lifetime Oil Filter is a filter you NEVER HAVE TO CHANGE. Ever. Wait. Let me say that again. You NEVER need to change it.  The cleaning is so easy, it could be done by your Grandma by simply calling the 37DF toll free number and sign up for their ReadySwap™ program and they will send you a clean element.

It’s a work of art that removes impurities just like your lungs, leaving your oil clean as the day it was poured in. But telling you that they have test motors with thousands of miles on them without an oil change is too far for me to take you right now. What I can state is that by adding this filter to your car, it’s the single most effective thing you can do to make a permanent difference cheaply.

Sure, you could go out and buy a Prius, Volt or an Insight, but not everyone is in a position to buy a whole new car. But here’s what you CAN do…

When you see the Lifetime Oil Filter for the first time, it blows your mind. The weight, shimmering aluminum cover in polished or red makes you realize that art and design can be incorporated into products that actually work and are sustainable. The cool factor is off the chart for enthusiasts, which is why it’s now selling in Pep Boys to Hot Rodders, Tuner and even Harley Davidson owners. But it’s also why Commercial Fleets all over the world are ordering them for their fleet vehicles.  The combination of knowing that you’re saving money, greening the planet, eliminating landfill trash and making your car aesthetically cooler is the ultimate combination.

I’m proud of my friend Christopher, and can now call him that. But this is only the beginning. Our mission has begun and we’re driven by creating what’s right for the world, not by making things that are lame and don’t change because we’re lazy or don’t want to take a risk. That way is the fool’s way.

I ask you to check it out for yourself. The filter fits virtually every car and the goal is to fit them all. But there’s more. Join us in the Fireball Revolution to “Make the Planet Cool.” We all live here. We all have to do our part. We’re all one. And if we take the time to think smarter, we’ll act smarter, and our lives and the lives of those we love will get better.

Watch! Fireball Tim SEMA 2011 Episode 1 is LIVE!

Episode 1 has launched with interviews from Picture Car Warehouse, Honda and serious Booth Babes… Smack it and GO!

GM Press Conference at SEMA exposes new GM Coolness…

Awesome media event went off last night at the Wynn Hotel, courtesy of our boys at GM. Lifetime Oil Filter CEO Christopher Hubbard and I watched awestruck as they revealed some serious firepower with the new Camaro, Sonic and a bitchin’ Chevelle designed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (Like he knows cars… sheesh.) Also on hand was buddy Bob Bondurant. You know him…, he’s got a couple a cool rides.

It’s very clear that GM is determined not only to bounce back, but to lay down the hammer with the Coda Camaro in the race circuit. Also present was dirt biker Ricky Carmichael with his Sonic and a Hot Wheels Camaro that would simply knock your socks off, dangit.

Check out the picks and try not to drool on your laptop… um, iphone… um, android.

Fireball visits LIFETIME OIL FILTER in Oregon…

Fantastic trip up to Albany, Oregon to visit our friends at Lifetime Oil Filter. The CEO, Christopher Hubbard, took us on a step-by-step of the proprietary process that each filter goes through. You can see how serious he is… Funny, how the family has taken suit also. 😉

But come SEMA, LOF is planning it bigtime. Fits every car, eliminates oil filter dumping into landfills and creates cleaner air. So… I’m all over that for ALL of my builds from now on. Just unscrew it, wash it out, then stick it back on. Done, Boom… off to the movies.

Fireball Tim’s Hollywood Garage announces SEMA builds…

Wow, that sounds official. Guess I better get my act together…

But, here’s the skinny. If you’ve been listening to the Podcast Show, you’ll know we’re prepping PROJECT KING TAHOE at the shop along with cars for Avengers. Wups, did I just say that in bold? Ignore that… And above… is what King Tahoe will become. A 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe with some interesting stuff. Sponsors right now include SONY, Lifetime Oil Filter, Cinema Vehicles, Kurv Wheels, Pulstar Plugs, K&N Engineering and Styles Striping. But there’s more coming…

But why a 1997 Chevy Tahoe? Because it’s an everyman’s car. The concept behind this year’s build isn’t a trailer queen. Why? Because not everyone can build one. This car is being built at 52 mods over 52 weeks. 1 Mod a week is all we ask. And that… anyone can do.

But… here’s something else. I got an bug up my butt to create something cool because we’ll be filming and doing the Podcast LIVE. Something comfy cool to interview celebs in And then I showed to to Christopher Hubbard of Lifetime Oil Filter. And what did he say? “Let’s build that, Fireball!!!”

So, the DRAGCHAIRS™ will be premiering at SEMA also. Thanks to Christopher and his team. They’ll also be at The LA Auto Show and possibly San Diego. Shwing!

All new episode! LIFETIME OIL FILTER
