MAGNUM PI FERRARI, Brando, Sorcery, Pinups & AWESOME ART!!

DID YOU KNOW?? The iconic red Ferrari driven by Magnum had to be modified to fit Selleck’s frame, including removing the padding from the seat. It was originally supposed to be a Porsche, but it couldn’t be appropriately modified… so the Ferrari took its place. Three Ferraris were used over the show’s eight seasons, each with the license plate “ROBIN 1”- Season 1: 1979 308 GTS – Seasons 2-6: 1981 308 GTSi – Seasons 7-8: 1984 308 GTSi quattrovalvole.

Also in today’s TROPICAL BLAST… Hollywood Icon MARLON BRANDO gives out a SIG from what Car? The Jerry-Rigged MOVIE CAR from the campy, cheesy METAL STORM: THE DESTRUCTION OF JARED SYN! (Richard Band composed and recorded the score for this B-Movie in eleven days and it was Tim Thomerson’s first film for Charles Band. The late who played Hurok) was discovered and cast by the producers of Night Court in 1984 for the role of Bull Shannon, the towering bailiff, while shooting this film. He shaved his head for the role and the producers of Night Court liked the look so much that Moll continued to shave his head for the show! Metal Storm combined elements of a western, post-apocalyptic, science fiction and sorcery. Wow!
