DID YOU KNOW?? The Ecto-1 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance/Hearse is a rare and iconic vehicle, with only around 400 ever built. And weighed nearly three and a half tons!! It was a behemoth, stretching 21 feet long, 8 feet high, 7 feet wide. Dan Aykroyd originally envisioned Ecto-1 as a sinister-looking, all-black hearse with purple and green lights, but the white and red color scheme was chosen due to the many nighttime scenes.

And… today on PLANET FIREBALL… Does Disney need a new show called “CHIP N’ THE BALL?” Only if it’s got a cool car in it! Plus, the boys in VEGAS rocked that sh*t outta that town for SEMA!

BEHIND THE SCENES! In the early days of Ghostbusters, CVS (Cinema Vehicle Services) and Fireball restored the Ecto 1, but not before it sat for a long time in the shop. Poor Hearse…
