FLINTSTONES, Celebs, Bond, FVF, Flame & a ’56 GOLDEN ROCKET!
Good Morning you Knuckleheaded Knockbusters and welcome to the badassery that is AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! Today, our feet spin at lighting speed with Fireball’s FLINTSTONES MASTERPRINT and MUGSHOT! Wiiiilllmmmmaaaaa!!!!!
DID YOU KNOW?? The Flintstones’ iconic car, the Flintmobile, was a fun, albeit impractical invention. Only three Flintmobiles were ever built for the films, with one being stationary for close-ups and another built on a golf cart chassis for driving scenes. Also, “Dino-Fuel” in the show was just water, and antifreeze was hot soup for the dinosaurs! And yes, Fireball was involved with Cinema Vehicle Services.
And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL… the Ball heads to Hollywood with CORKY COKER for an event back in the day and reveals his first book to BIG DOG at Autobooks in Burbank. Good times! What COLORING BOOKS are on deck?? BRITISH CARS, AMERICAN CLASSICS & MORE!!
FEATURED ART is outta the bag with Fireball’s all-new FOR YOUR EYES ONLY MASTERPRINT! You a Bond Fan? Git on it…
CONCEPT ART!! The Ball did this GM DOLPHIN CONCEPT back at ART CENTER COLLEGE in ’88 and the FORD V FERRARI as promo for the film. Must… have… ART!
THE INGLIS CLASSICS SUPER CAR SHOW is coming in August and it’s gonna be INSANE!! Join us in the high desert of HESPSERIA for Car Culture at it’s BEST!
And lastly… today’s CLASSIC CONCEPT is the 1965 OLDSMOBILE GOLDEN ROCKET!! We’d drive this one holding a Golden Cup cake. Just sayin…’
