BUT DID YOU KNOW?? The original designer of the 1982 GMC Sierra truck (a part of the GM C/K truck family) is not definitively known, as it was a collaborative effort by a team of engineers and designers within General Motors. The Sierra name, which would later become its own model line, was previously used as a trim level, and the first generation of the GMC Sierra was introduced in 1988. The 1982 model was part of the broader “Square Body” generation of GM trucks. The 1980 model year introduced both a tape player option and a CB radio, showcasing the evolving technology of the time. “Confirmed, Good Buddy!”
