Fireball has done a LOT of Concept Art for film and TV over the last 40 years and today’s featured piece comes from the film IMPOSTOR with Gary Sinise. A mixed-media piece as a “World-Builder.” These bird-eye views help envision the era in time, design language and state of society. Film still holds up!

DID YOU KNOW?? The Police Interceptor from MAD MAX started out as a standard white Cleveland V8, 351 cu. in. dual-overhead cam, 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop. The movie’s art director Jon Dowding designed the Interceptor and commissioned Melbourne-based car customizers Graf-X International to modify the GT Falcon. The second Interceptor was more tricked out than the original… with larger custom gas tanks. It was destroyed in Mad Max 2. Wups. The Interceptor used in the 2015 remake, Mad Max Fury Road, was built by the same person who restored the original car. It was also destroyed at the end of the movie. Are we seeing a pattern??
