Welcome to the week as we launch and all-new post Labor Day 1989 BATMAN BATMOBILE MASTERPRINT! This is Fireball’s original design for the film and now comes on Tees, Mugs and even Stickers! Hit the garage to see what’s HOT!
DID YOU KNOW?? For the production of both films, two cars were utilized before Warner Brothers commissioned three additional vehicles for publicity and promotional use including this one and the original just sold for a whopping $1.5 MILLION! It was built on two Chevrolet Impala chassis with Chevy V8s, and was based on and modified from a 1970 Corvette body when previous development with a Jaguar and Ford Mustang failed. A second car was based on an Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible.

WHEELS AND WAVES began in Malibu in 2010 and was knocked out by Covid. It began with about 20 cars and grew to be one of Southern California’s GREATEST CARS & COFFEES with over 250 cars, Celebs like Leno, Keanu, Chris Hart, Magnus Walker, Jonathan Banks, Dick Van Dyke and so much more. Pinstriping Demos, Singers, Artists and even R2-D2! It was epic… and now it’s BACK IN AN ALL-NEW LOCATION!
Huge Thanks to the Channel Islands Harbor, City of Oxnard, Visit Oxnard and the Oxnard and Ventura County Sheriff! The new location is officially the CHANNEL ISLANDS MARITIME MUSEUM! If you’ve never been, it’s amazing… ON THE WATER and full of the most incredible ART, SHIP MODELS and HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS!

Just in, folks! Looks like the success of WHEELS AND WAVES for this last month was too overwhelmingly cool, so we’re being forced to REST and REGROUP.
Kidding aside, with all that’s going on in the world, the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu is regrouping all their events to come back stronger in October for the HALLOWEEN SEASON. There’s a rather large hump in the country right now and they feel it’s best to keep things simple…
Rest assured, WHEELS AND WAVES will be back and in FULL-ON COOL MODE. But for now, all of our attention will be placed on MUSCLES AND MOJO at the Murphy Auto Museum in Oxnard. We have some BIG news coming next week!
