BATMAN ART, Diecast, Emergency, Classics, Zipsters & Celebs!
Good Morning, you FRAGGLED FRODERS and welcome to AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! If this is your first go, GOOD ON YA! Today, we celebrate the coming of the New Year with tons of COOL ART! Major SKETCHES, WATERCOLORS, MOVIES & TV goodness is on the way from Fireball for 2026 and this is a great time to add AUTOPOP ART COOLNESS into your home! So let’s get started!!
First up is Fireball’s whipsnap of the BATMAN V SUPERMAN BATMOBILE ART which makes this his 8th BAT SKETCH! But which one should he do next? This new one is on MUGS, TEES, STICKS & CANVAS so you can turn your Batcave into a BAT GALLERY! And check out this Vintage Snap of Fireball in ’72 playing with Corgi’s and Dinky’s… Inspiration started EARLY!
ALL-NEW EMERGENCY WATERCOLOR PRINTS are now in the Garage! But there’s so much more coming for 2026! Which Movie or TV Car would YOU like to see as a Watercolor Print? Prints come in stunning 24×18 Framed Canvas and look awesome!!
Still more BatArt with Fireball’s BATMAN AND ROBIN Batmobile… and DID YOU KNOW?? This ’97 Bat was a wild, single-seater design inspired by Jaguars, featuring a Chevy engine, custom bat-tread tires, and a massive 33-foot length, while the classic 1966 version hid flaws with black velvet paint and used repurposed items like paint cans for its turbine, with Robin often holding on tight due to Adam West’s difficult driving. Both iconic rides had quirky realities: the ’97 model prioritized style over practicality, and the ’66 Batmobile was built in just three weeks with hilarious improvised parts like lawn sprinklers for oil slicks, making it a fun, flawed classic.
The Richard Erickson ANTIQUE & CLASSIC POWER MUSEUM now has their own Coloring Book full of their specific Collection! FTG is the only Company on the Planet doing the World’s Best Automotive Coloring Books featuring CAR MUSEUM Specific Collections, so how can we do one for YOUR Museum? REACH OUT! We can even do PRIVATE COLLECTIONS!
Here’s a Classic Pedal Car Piece below done for THE BENEDICT CASTLE CAR SHOW. Have you been to this one? One of the most awesome shows in Southern California!
Today’s Fireball ZANY ZIPSTER is the LOBSTER JET, in for repairs due to a bit of an Octopus Problem… But no worries, they’ll get it fixed.
And lastly, a great Vintage Snap of AUTOPOP Star ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY! DID YOU KNOW?? Elizabeth Montgomery, the iconic star of Bewitched, was a fan of luxury vehicles and was known to own several classic cars. Montgomery owned a 1977 Bentley T2 Saloon with the personalized license plate “BENTLIZ”. This car was part of her estate sale in 1999 and was still in the Los Angeles area as of a few years ago. She was the original owner of a 1958 Packard 58L and kept it for nearly 30 years, until 1987 and in addition to her luxury cars, her collection included a more practical 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass, which was also offered at her estate sale for $4,000. During the first two seasons of Bewitched, Chevrolet was the primary sponsor of the show, and Chevrolet cars were frequently featured, with Montgomery appearing in integrated commercials for vehicles like the new Chevy II.
Today’s BEST OF SHOW?? Fireball spits his most Favorite MOVIE & TV Cars of all time. WATCH!

Fireball Whipsnaps All-New TRANSFORMERS BARRICADE Art!
What’s up, you SWEATIN’ STOOPIDS and welcome to today’s AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! To celebrate the weekend… Fireball has busted out the all-new TRANSFORMERS BARRICADE POLICE MUSTANG!! Now on MUGS, TEES, STICKS and so much more! LET’S ROLL OUT!
DID YOU KNOW?? Barricade’s design in the live-action Transformers films blends classic police car elements (like Prowl inspiration) with a menacing, fragmented look, featuring hidden ninja stars in his hands, transforming from a Saleen S-281, and even having his “Protect and Serve” motto twisted to “Punish and Enslave” on his police cruiser body, reflecting his role as a ruthless Decepticon enforcer. His look was deliberately made more aggressive and car-part-heavy than typical Autobots, contrasting with his Prowl roots, and later “Evergreen” designs solidified his iconic, distinct silhouette.
Have a great weekend, folks!

OMEGA MAN ART, Grinch, Classic, Stangs & Fighter Jet Polaris
What’s up, you ALPHA A-HOLIOS and welcome to AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE!! We hope you all had a great Christmas… and to celebrate, it’s THE OMEGA MAN ART!! This one, the 1970 FORD GALAXIE XL from Charleton Heston’s 1971 Zombie-Killing film! Can you see what the Heston’s been cookin??’
DID YOU KNOW?? The Omega Man (1971) features Charlton Heston as the last immune man in a plague-ridden LA, filming in deserted downtown L.A. on Sundays, featuring an iconic interracial kiss with Rosalind Cash (who joked about kissing “Moses”), and uses a Christ-like sacrifice ending, all while being based on Richard Matheson’s I Am Legend, a novel Heston loved. To create the deserted metropolis effect, scenes were shot in Los Angeles’s financial district on Sunday mornings when streets were empty, avoiding costly sets or CGI, which didn’t even exist at the time. The fortress Heston’s character (Dr. Neville) lived in was a backlot set at the Warner Bros. Ranch and was later demolished during redevelopment.

FIRE!! Holidays, Ark 2, ATeam, Tony Dow & we lose GIL GERARD
Good morning, you SLITHERING STHUCKATASHES and welcome to AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE!! It’s hump-day and we celebrate with Fireball’s recent Commission for the LA CITY FIRE!! It’s a 1940’s AERIAL LADDER FIRETRUCK called LIGHTFORCE!! And it’s HOT!!
DID YOU KNOW?? 1940’s Aerial Ladder Trucks were often powerful, all-steel firsts (like Seagrave’s V-12s), featured unique designs, sometimes used as makeshift TVs with antennas for sports and transitioned from horse-drawn concepts to modern power. Though they lacked today’s safety features, relying on massive ground ladders and crew ingenuity, many were “tiller trucks,” needing two operators (a driver and a rear tiller) to steer the long rigs around tight city streets. These trucks bridged the gap between old horse-drawn methods and modern apparatus, proving aerials’ worth in major fires like Boston’s Cocoanut Grove in 1942.
And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL… Kim hands out Hot Wheels to kids at the recent 2025 HOLLYWOOD CHRISTMAS PARADE, the ARK II MUGSHOT is NOW AVAILABLE, B.A. Barakus’ A-TEAM VAN… SKETCHED, The Official TONY DOW (Leave it to Beaver) Celebrity Coloring Book is the full story and sadly… the world loses BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY’S Gil Gerard.

“21 Miles in Malibu” is a 15-award-winning documentary that explores how Malibu’s stunning 21-mile coastline became home to one of California’s most dangerous roadways, claiming over 200 lives since 1970. Through the eyes of local residents and two heartbreaking family stories—including Emily Shane’s—the film reveals how outdated infrastructure and design choices continue to create predictable tragedies. The documentary examines what could be done to make our roads safer and sparks essential conversations about the changes needed to prevent future loss.
