BIG BOOK of Wacky Rides now available… everywhere?

Wow, it seems my BIG BOOK of Wacky Rides just might be the hot things for kids? It’s my hope… Big ones, little ones… we’re all kids…

But not only is it available on Amazon (UK and Japan, too!) and B&N, you can now get it at Buy.com, DeepDiscount, All Books, and even QBD in Australia. Plus, about 200 others worldwide. At this rate, we might just hit our goal of a billion smiling squirts!

Did some great interviews at the LA Auto Show yesterday with Bob Long of Autoworld, Allen Taylor of Motor Trend Radio, and Lou Ann Hammond of Driving the Nation. I’ll post here when the shows air, but big thanks to those guys in helping the journey begin!

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – Chevrolet’s Code130-R & Tru140-S…

Strange names for Chevy’s Concepts, but these are actually re-paints of cars that have been on the circuit for a bit. No new concepts for them, but what is new will be revealed January 13th. 13 models, starting with the all new Corvette.

These two, the Code130-R and Tru140-S are just exercises, so don’t expect much from them. They are actually pretty tame and that’s Chevy’s game now. Concept Cars that look drive-able.

I miss the old days of the Motorama… Let’s hope that Chevy gets their wild thang goin’ again…

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – The BMW i3 and i8 Spyder…

BMW is rockin’ and rollin’ with their concept cars. The i8 Spyder (above), off the heels of the i8 Coupe, is really unique. Got a chance to get up close which is why Press Days are so important. We couldn’t sit in these, as BMW isn’t that stupid. I tend to have sharp objects in my back pocket (for stealing cookies and things like that, yo), but the free flowing form on this one was truly inspiring.

The new i3 concept is more of a commuter. I like not knowing that much of the tech details of these cars because it’s really about emotion. How does this car make you feel, I enjoy asking. So…

What do YOU guys think?

2012 LAAS CONCEPTS – The Acura NSX…

Acura is poised to launch their new NSX soon. A concept car that really isn’t one, ’cause this is it. Stunning hard edged styling cues throughout position this baby to lead the pack, until softer design comes back… which will be soon and you’ll see with what Lexus is doing. But this is a beauty.

LA Auto Show “CONCEPT WEEK” begins with Fisker, Mercedes & Jag

What an awesome day today. Hung out with buddy Matt Farah from The Car Show and Fisker CEO, Henrik Fisker (above). Now his car (The Karma) is changing everything (I’ll get into that later.) But we went to school together and so I thought it appropriate to start with some cool Art Center Clay Concepts below. It’s “Concept Week” here with the Fireball, so let’s take a look at what’s cool. (Although, every day is gonna be cool, right? 😉

From Mercedes and Monster to Jag and an Electric Bike Concept, cool ideas are abundant. Each day I’ll bring you another LAAS Concept in detail. Tomorrow? The Acura NSX…

COOL-CHITECHTURE around the globe is my target…

It’s my dream to travel the world and see things like this up close. To live in the future. And if I have my way, that’s EXACTLY what I intend to do… then bring it to you, duh. Our future isn’t bland. It isn’t scary. It isn’t full of violence and harm.

What it is… is up to you. You have to decide what you want your future to be… and not be a victim to race thought and belief.

“Choose the Cool, and Cool comes…”

All new PORSCHE CAYMAN revealed in all it’s glory…

2013 Cayman… screamed into the Auto Show yesterday, chased by a charcoal grey. Wow.

Now, I could shoot you some specs on this car, but really… who cares. It’s awesome and needs you to drive it. Such an improvement on the original Cayman that it begs for a driving experience asap… In fact, the hysteria was so off the chart that most didn’t even hear what President Porsche was saying anyway. The only bummer is that you have to wait 6 months for it to be at dealers. BWA! Someone get me some serious coffee!!! I’m waitin’ up!

UPDATE! LA Auto Show reveals slick new cars…

Lots of new reveals today via LAAS Press Days. I’ll be breaking them down due to the fact that there were an insane amount of cool new cars. This first set is the highlights…

Great stuff from Chevy with the Spark EV. 13 new models coming from them as of January 13th, starting with the Vette. The RAV4 from Toyota, MINI’s new GP, Jag’s new Cabrio, incredible sculpture from Aston Martin (in and out) plus Bond’s original DB5 (Full size and a model), plus a cool new ride from Campagna Motors that I sat in.

Met up with friends Mike Musto of Big Muscle and Tim Whitcome. Insane car guys and addicted to shiny metal.

Tomorrow, exclusive look at Porsche’s new Cayman and CONCEPTS.

HUNGER GAMES • CHASING FIRE Set Shots are all wet…

Ok, so where does a sequel go after it’s been playing in the woods? Well, to the beach, of course! And that’s where filming has been taking place for HUNGER GAMES • CHASING FIRE. Arrows, swimming, killing, diving and just plain fun. All in a day’s work, I’d say… Who’s up for it?

I’ll be Instagrammin, Foursquaring, Twittering, Blogging, Facebooking and… eating, I guess. Stay tooooned…
