Fireball gets a funny PERFECT HAIRCUT for VLOG BITS!

The PERFECT #HAIRCUT – VLOG BITS – Fireball reveals what it takes to get the perfect #haircut.

What’s HAIR? Well, let’s ask our friend WIKI… Hair is a protein filament that grows from follicles found in the dermis, or skin. Hair is one of the defining characteristics of mammals. The human body, apart from areas of glabrous skin, is covered in follicles which produce thick terminal and fine vellus hair. Most common interest in hair is focused on hair growth, hair types and hair care, but hair is also an important biomaterial primarily composed of protein, notably keratin.

Attitudes towards different hair, such as hairstyles and hair removal, vary widely across different cultures and historical periods, but it is often used to indicate a person’s personal beliefs or social position, such as their age, sex, or religion.

Each strand of hair is made up of the medulla, cortex, and cuticle.[4] The innermost region, the medulla, is not always present and is an open, unstructured region.[5] The highly structural and organized cortex, or middle layer of the hair, is the primary source of mechanical strength and water uptake. The cortex contains melanin, which colors the fiber based on the number, distribution and types of melanin granules. The shape of the follicle determines the shape of the cortex, and the shape of the fiber is related to how straight or curly the hair is. People with straight hair have round hair fibers. Oval and other shaped fibers are generally more wavy or curly. The cuticle is the outer covering. Its complex structure slides as the hair swells and is covered with a single molecular layer of lipid that makes the hair repel water.[4] The diameter of human hair varies from 0.017 to 0.18 millimeters (0.00067 to 0.00709 in).[6] There are two million small, tubular glands and sweat glands that produce watery fluids that cool the body by evaporation. The glands at the opening of the hair produce a fatty secretion that lubricates the hair.[7]

Hair growth begins inside the hair follicle. The only “living” portion of the hair is found in the follicle. The hair that is visible is the hair shaft, which exhibits no biochemical activity and is considered “dead”. The base of a hair’s root (the “bulb”) contains the cells that produce the hair shaft.[8] Other structures of the hair follicle include the oil producing sebaceous gland which lubricates the hair and the arrector pili muscles, which are responsible for causing hairs to stand up. In humans with little body hair, the effect results in goose bumps.

GOPHER derps the Vlog on VLOG BITS!

Watch here on YOUTUBE! A backyard Gopher makes a run for it…

Learn about Gophers on WIKI…

Pocket gophers, commonly referred to as gophers, are burrowing rodents of the family Geomyidae.[1] About 35 species of gophers live in Central and North America.[2] They are commonly known for their extensive tunneling activities. Gophers are endemic to North and Central America.

The name “pocket gopher” on its own may be used to refer to any of a number of genera within the family. These are the “true” gophers; however several ground squirrels in the distantly related family Sciuridae are often called gophers, as well.

Gophers weigh around 0.5 lb (230 g), and are about 6–8 in (150–200 mm) long in body length, with a tail 1–2 in (25–51 mm) long. A few species reach weights approaching 1 kg (2.2 lb). Within any species, the males are larger than the females and can be nearly double their weight.[3]

Their lifespans are normally one to three years[4] assuming no diseases or predation. The maximum lifespan for the pocket gopher is about five years.[5] Some gophers, such as those in the genus Geomys, have lifespans that have been documented as up to seven years in the wild.[4]

Most gophers have brown fur that often closely matches the color of the soil in which they live. Their most characteristic features are their large cheek pouches, from which the word “pocket” in their name derives. These pouches are fur-lined, can be turned inside out, and extend from the side of the mouth well back onto the shoulders. Gophers have small eyes and a short, hairy tail, which they use to feel around tunnels when they walk backwards.

Pocket gophers have been found to often carry external parasites.[4] Common predators of the gopher include weasels, snakes, and hawks.

Fireball sketches a MALIBU RAT ROD for VLOG BITS!

Click HERE to watch Fireball whip this one out!

**A legend in the Car Design and Filmmaker World and having designed cars and vehicles for over 400 of Hollywood’s biggest action films including BATMAN, KNIGHT RIDER, JURASSIC PARK & MONSTER GARAGE plus over 1K Commercials, Fireball is a force in the Design of Cars for Hollywood.

What is a Rat Rod according to Wikipedia? A rat rod is a style of hot rod or custom car that, in most cases, imitates (or exaggerates) the early hot rods of the 1940s, 1950s, and early-1960s. The style is not to be confused with the somewhat closely related “traditional” hot rod, which is an accurate re-creation or period-correct restoration of a hot rod from the same era.

Most rat rods appear “unfinished”, regardless of their status, as only the vehicle’s bare essentials are driven. These are built to drive, not exclusively for show.

Originally, rat rods were a counter-reaction to the high-priced “customs” and typical hot rods, many of which were seldom driven and served only a decorative purpose. The rat rod’s inception signified a throwback to the hot rods of the earlier days of hot-rod culture—built according to the owner’s abilities and with the intention of being driven. Rat rods are meant to loosely imitate, in both form and function, the “traditional” hot rods of the era. Biker, greaser, rockabilly, psychobilly, and punk sub-cultures are often cited as influences that shaped rat rodding.

The typical rat rod is a late-1920s through to late-1950s coupe or roadster, but sometimes a truck or sedan. Many early (pre-World War II) vehicles were not built with fenders, hoods, running boards, and bumpers. The bodies are frequently channeled over the frame and sectioned, or the roofs are chopped, for a lower profile. Later-era post-war vehicles were rarely constructed without fenders and were often customized in the fashion of kustoms, leadsleds, and lowriders; Maltese crosses, skulls, and other accessories were often added. The owner of the vehicle was typically responsible for most, or all, of the work present in the vehicle.

Recently, using the term “rat rod” has been derided as being incorrect when describing any vehicle that appears unfinished or is built simply to be driven.[1]

Longtime rodding scribe Pat Ganahl took a broad look at the rat rod trend and had this to say:

“I see what are referred to as Rat Rods today comprising three elements: First are the traditional rods and customs. Those are cars built the way rods were built in the ’30s, ’40s, and early ’50s, with a primary emphasis on low-buck and home-built, using period-correct components ranging from flathead to nailhead engines, wide whitewall tires to skinny blackwall bias-plies, and black primer to hand-rubbed paint.

“Second are what I personally call Rat Rods, as a positive term… They’re artistic, fun, and sensational reinterpretations of late-’40s/early-’50s hot rodding as a culture that includes music, clothing, hairstyles, and tattoos. The cars are low, loud, chopped…with giant rear tires, lots of carburetors, open pipes, and tall gearshifts.

“Third are…what I derisively call Crap Rods today. They’ve always been part of the mix, unavoidably. I take exception to those who think that shoddy construction is somehow cool, or worse, those who know they can throw a bunch of junk parts together and peddle it as a cool rat rod to some inexperienced buyer who doesn’t know the difference.”

VLOG BITS reveals SUPER MARIO and friends doing the WAVE!

Kathie’s Costumes doing the wave for a Mario Party 4 Commercial. Guess who’s in the Mario Costume… yes, yours truly.

From WIKI… Super Mario (Japanese: スーパーマリオ Hepburn: Sūpā Mario?) is a series of platform video games created by Nintendo featuring their mascot, Mario. Alternatively called the Super Mario Bros. (スーパーマリオブラザーズ Sūpā Mario Burazāzu?) series or simply the Mario (マリオ?) series, it is the central series of the greater Mario franchise. At least one Super Mario game has been released for every major Nintendo video game console and handheld.

The Super Mario games follow Mario’s adventures in the fictional Mushroom Kingdom, usually with Mario as the player character. He is usually joined by his brother, Luigi, and occasionally by other members of the Mario cast. As in platform video games, the player runs and jumps across platforms and atop enemies in themed levels. The games have simple plots, typically with Mario rescuing the kidnapped Princess Peach from the primary antagonist, Bowser. The first title in the series, Super Mario Bros., released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985, established gameplay concepts and elements prevalent in nearly every Super Mario game since. These include a multitude of power-ups and items that give Mario special magic powers such as fireball-throwing and size-changing into giant and miniature sizes.

The Super Mario series is part of the greater Mario franchise. This includes other video game genres as well as media such as film, television, printed media and merchandise. Over 310 million copies of games in the Super Mario series have been sold worldwide, as of September 2015, making it the best-selling video game series in history

We head to DONUT DERELICTS for FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 557!

Fireball and Ken head to Huntington Beach for DONUT DERELICTS. An amazing car show since the 80’s. Then, slip by Rosetta Coffee Brewing Company. Finally Fireball morphs in a Kangaroo. WAAA?

VLOG BITS HAS BEGUN!! Subcribe to the Blog here and don’t miss Fireball’s all new VLOG BITS… the Best Moments of the Vlog!

About DD from WIKI… Donut Derelicts is an informal weekly car show held in Huntington Beach, California, United States since approximately 1986.[1] The event takes place in the parking lot on the north-east corner of the intersection of Magnolia Street and Adams Avenue on Saturday mornings between approximately 6:30 am and 8:30 am.[2] The show is completely informal; it has no rules, no fee, no prizes, no formal competition, and no flyers. Nonetheless, several hundred cars show up each Saturday morning.

The gathering started with just a few friends showing up at a donut store every Saturday, and grew from there. One of the original participants, automotive artist Rick Finn,[3] made a T-shirt design in 1989 that has become the logo of the event, and is sold (in many variations now) at the donut store which the event originally centered on.[1]

The event has spawned a number of imitators in different cities.

VLOGS BITS reveals Fireball’s amazing DONUT WORKOUT!

DONUT WORKOUT? – VLOG BITS
Fireball has the secret to a fulfilling workout… and it might include Donuts. Watch more VLOG BITS on Youtube!
http://www.youtube.com/fireballtim

From Wiki… A doughnut or donut (both: /ˈdoʊnət/ or /ˈdoʊnʌt/; see spelling differences) is a type of fried dough confectionery or dessert food. The doughnut is popular in many countries and prepared in various forms as a sweet snack that can be homemade or purchased in bakeries, supermarkets, food stalls, and franchised specialty outlets. Doughnuts are usually deep-fried from a flour dough, and typically either ring-shaped or without a hole, and often filled. Other types of batters can also be used, and various toppings and flavorings are used for different types, such as sugar, chocolate, or maple glazing. In addition to flour, doughnuts may also include such ingredients as water, leavening, eggs, milk, sugar, oil/shortening, natural flavors and/or artificial flavors.[1][2]

The two most common types are the ring doughnut and the filled doughnut—which is injected with fruit preserves, cream, custard, or other sweet fillings. A small spherical piece of dough may be cooked as a doughnut hole. Once doughnuts have been fried, they may be glazed with a sugar icing, spread with icing or chocolate, or topped with powdered sugar or sprinkles or fruit. Other shapes include rings, balls, and flattened spheres, as well as ear shapes, twists and other forms. Doughnut varieties are also divided into cake and yeast-risen type doughnuts. Donuts are often accompanied by coffee when they are purchased at doughnut shops or fast food restaurants.
