1947 PONTIAC STREAMLINER ALL STEEL SLED! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 655

1947 PONTIAC STREAMLINER ALL STEEL SLED! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 655 – An amazing day with this Malibu Vlogger revealing a sick 1947 PONTIAC all steel sled, incredible sites, RV’s and more. Plus some great inspiration.

The 1947 Pontiac Streamliner is a full-sized car that was produced by Pontiac from the 1942 to the 1951 model years.

Along with Oldsmobile, Pontiac had the distinction of having all three of General Motors’ mainstream platforms in 1940, but this would last only one more year. In 1940 Pontiac introduced its first B-bodied car, the Deluxe Series 28 Eight.

Also in 1940, Pontiac introduced the Torpedo on the C-body. The new C-body featured cutting-edge “torpedo” styling. Shoulder and hip room was over 5 in (127 mm) wider, running boards were eliminated and the exterior was streamlined and 2–3 in (51–76 mm) lower.

When combined with a column mounted shift lever the cars offered true six passenger comfort. These changes had clearly been influenced by the Cadillac Sixty Special.

In 1941 the A-body and B-body were similarly redesigned.

Consequently Pontiac renamed its entire line-up “Torpedo”, with models ranging from the low-end A-bodied Deluxe Torpedo (with a 119.0 in (3,023 mm) wheelbase), the mid-level B-bodied Streamliner Torpedo (with a 122.0 in (3,099 mm) wheelbase up 2.0 in (51 mm) from the previous year), and the high-end C-bodied Custom Torpedo (with the same 122.0 in (3,099 mm) wheelbase as the previous year).

1941 was the last year Pontiac offered a model with the GM C-body until the big “Clamshell” tailgate Pontiac Safari and Grand Safari station wagons of 1971-76. For 1942, the Torpedo name was assigned to the A-bodied Pontiac while the Streamliner became the B-bodied Pontiac.

When life gives you CARS… you GO!

Yes, it’s a two-pronged thing this whole car life. Get in the car, go some place cool. But the notion is a lot deeper than that for sure.

What’s the bottom line of having fun? Well, living in Malibu affords me a lot of things, but getting to Malibu and staying here is the result of a certain kind of thinking — a frequency that has to be maintained in order to benefit from our playground here.

It’s not something you’re given, but something you become aware of and hopefully expand as a human being.

As we know, what you give out into the world is what comes back to you. The only challenge is the awareness of this universal fact.

Most people either don’t know it or simply don’t believe it. And this is what keeps them from prosperity. Stop always thinking about yourself and start thinking about others. That doesn’t mean sacrifice yourself for others, it just means get out of your head and start looking for ways to make people happy.

That will make you happy. And happiness is what it’s all about, baby. Let’s go a wee bit deeper here and understand why it’s important to get in your car and go have fun.

Feeling good is a much bigger idea and concept than just a smile on your face. If you’re feeling good, you’re blasting out good thoughts into the world. Those who complain a lot don’t realize that they are blasting negativity out and getting back the same thing.

A wise person realizes that feeling good is what it’s all about, but they also understand why.

And the math is simple. Ready? Think a good thought about something, and this makes you feel good. And that means you are sending out good thoughts about this thing. Then, the universe will give you more of that thing. Done. Get it?

So, when I decided to throw my bike in the back of the massive 2017 Nissan Titan XD that they sent me for the week and ride somewhere cool, I never realized I would end up at the Malibu Creek rock pool, swimming by myself for 40 minutes before anyone else showed up.

Then, it was time to jump off the rocks and scream like a baby. And that’s exactly what we did all day.

Feel good about your health…. Feel good about your money… Feel good about your relationships. Just feel good.

And that will be a result of thinking good thoughts about them. If you’ll do that in the day more than complaining, whining or huffing n’ puffing, then your life will turn around and you will suddenly be living the dream.

Boom. Done. Welcome to Malibu. Now get out there and have fun.

GARLIC BALSAMIC SALAD DRESSING – MALIBU VEGAN KITCHEN 001 – Kathie’s all-new SATURDAY ONLY health segment is called MALIBU VEGAN KITCHEN. This episode features Kathie showing you how to make GARLIC BALSAMIC SALAD DRESSING in her own unique way.

From WIKI… Balsamic vinegar (Italian: aceto balsamico) is a very dark, concentrated, and intensely flavoured vinegar made wholly or partially from grape must, originating in Italy.

The term “aceto balsamico” is unregulated, but there are three protected balsamic vinegars: “Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena” (Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena), “Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Reggio Emilia” (Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of the Emilia Region), and “Aceto Balsamico di Modena” (Balsamic Vinegar of Modena).

The two traditional balsamic vinegars are made the same way from reduced grape must be aged for several years in a series of wooden barrels, and are produced exclusively in either the province of Modena or the wider Emilia region surrounding it.

The names of these two vinegars are protected by the European Union’s Protected Designation of Origin, while the usually less expensive Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (Aceto Balsamico di Modena) is made from grape must blended with wine vinegar and produced exclusively in either Modena or Reggio Emilia, with a Protected Geographical Indication status.

RESTORED 1963 CHEVROLET C-10 STEPSIDE TRUCK! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 653

RESTORED 1963 CHEVROLET C-10 STEPSIDE PICKUP! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 653 – A fun day in Malibu lands Fireball and Kathie at niece Alexa’s Birthday, the Pepperdine Ponds, the Beach and a spotting of this fully restored 1963 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup Truck!

From WIKI… The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC’s full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1998 in the United States, from 1965 to 1999 in Canada, from 1964 to 2001 in Brazil, and from 1975 to 1982 in Chile.

The first Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck was introduced in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. “C” indicated two-wheel drive and “K” indicated four-wheel drive.

The aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra names in 1999 in the United States and Canada, and 2001 in Brazil; the Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD heavy-duty pickup trucks followed.

Until this time, the names Silverado and Sierra were used to identify the trim level of the C/K trucks.

The 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts.

Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Also new for 1960 was a new designation system for trucks made by GM.

Gone were the 3100, 3200, and 3600 designations for short 1/2, long 1/2 and 3/4-ton models. Instead, a new scheme assigned a 10, 20, or 30 for 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton models.

Since 1957, trucks were available from the factory as four-wheel drive, and the new class scheme would make this known. A C (conventional) in front of the series number indicates two-wheel rear drive while a K denotes four-wheel drive.

Actual badging on Chevrolet trucks carried the series name system from the previous generation in 1960 and 1961: the 10, 20, 30, and 40 series (C and K) were badged as “Apaches”, 50 and 60 series trucks were badged as “Vikings”, and the largest 70 and 80 series models were marked “Spartans”.

In 1960, C/K trucks were available in smooth “Fleetside” or fendered “Stepside” versions. GMC called these “Wide-Side” and “Fenderside.”
