The MONKEES TV Show was a about a band with a cool car. A REAL Band… Although, they actually weren’t a real band at all but brought together for the show. The songs were written by Niel Diamond, Neil Sedaka, Carole King and other greats. But the CAR man, the MONKEEMOBILE. Built by GEORGE BARRIS, I always loved the custom built GTO although many cringe at having done it. But at the time… it was just a Pontiac. Had the Corgi Diecast and Model Kit, too!
