San Diego Auto Show keeps getting better…

Wow. Insane show… and it just keeps getting better. No time to write ’cause I gotta get back at it. But check out these rides, peeps and the fun. Especially my new buddy, Dakota. She’s a car nut!

San Diego Auto Show OFFICIALLY OPENS

First day of the show…. YIKES! There were peeps everywhere and it was like a pack of wild dogs hungry for automotive coolness. Regardless of the stanchions, people were climbing in, over and around cars like crazy. One lady even got ejected from the show for pullin’ a Dukes of Hazzard on our cool Caddy. (Security had their hands full, man…)

But smiles were abundant from kids of all ages. And by 8pm, we were wasted since we started interviews at 6:40am. I hit the sack like a potato machine gun. Rat-a-Tat-Tater-Tot… (Wow, that’s kinda funny. I’ll have to build me one of those…)

Check out this awesome Tractor Wheel Chair! Imagine one black with flames… ahhhhh…..

What’s up for today? The Hollywood Garage is goin’ off, yo!!

San Diego Auto Show DAY 2: The Cars…

Today, our buddy Oscar delivered several cars from Picture Car Warehouse to the show for the event, along with the Vision and a couple other beasts. Some serious firepower. Gearin’ up for one of the coolest Auto Shows ever, as there’s never been more movie cars like this before in one place. And this is the tip of the iceberg… ’cause wait until you see 2013. …Aychewow-wow…

Awesome MARVEL ART by Dennis Meheere…

I really like this painting by Dennis Meheere. Why? Because it’s identity is unique and unobstructed. He took what everyone else is doing… then did his own thing. And that’s what makes success.

Do your own thing today. And forget about what others think. Because… they are thinking the same thing. 😉

I’ve started a band…

And our first album went double brick. So, that’s the end of that. Maybe I should played harmonica instead of washboard? Good morning, peeeeeps. Have an incredible day.

San Diego Auto Show DAY 1: The Set-up

Officially DAY 1 ends in a hoopla of activity as we set up the booth, rolled in the Caddy and Tahoe and watched the Convention Center go from a bustling city to a ghost town by 6pm. We were the last ones out, but that took a while because there were cool car distractions, dangit! Above… Booth Babes Ally and Kim Wood were pounding RaceDeck for hours, and now they have Ahnuld Muscles. Doooooosh….

The set looks awesome, thanks to Christopher’s team of Lifetime Oil Filter and our team of… misfits. Then, we headed out to Gaslamp Town and to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner… only to hear them say it was a 1.5 hour wait! Not. Pasta out… Fish In.

We hit Nobu for some Sushi stuff instead. Instant table. Instant food… and goooooood. Check out that crazy salad. And look what we found afterwards in a local market!

It’s 5am as I write this and the view from the Omni is peaceful and quiet. As Master Chief said in GI Jane… “Welcome to a brand new day.”

Today… the CARS, man.

Stunning ACURA NSX coming to Detroit Auto Show…

Yes, the Detroit Show will be going off in January with some hot rides, including this ACURA NSX Concept. How close will the production version be to this? Does this actually drive? Will I get a chance to drive it?

Hm. …Where did that last question come from? I mean, ME… drive THAT?

Hmf.

On another note… packing right now for the San Diego Auto Show. WUPEEE!! Well, technically, I’m writing… but you get my drift, duh.

SAN DIEGO AUTO SHOW Roll in begins tomorrow…

T-Minus 2 days before the SDAS launches full steam ahead. And prep is essential when you have a booth with a dozen vehicles. So, in the morning we head out with KING TAHOE and our 556hp Cadillac V-Wagon to haul ass, um,… I mean haul our stuff to the show.

But this party is gonna be goin’ off as the boys of Lifetime Oil Filter are settin’ up a suite at the Hard Rock with our own Rock N’ Roll Chef, Billy. And he’s a mad hatter if there ever was one in the kitchen. Our Coordination SuperHeroine Robbin is gonna see to it that I stay focused and “in tune.” And she’s a badass, so don’t mess with her schedule. 😉

The team of LOF will be in full force, smilin’ their pearly whites as they roll in the BIGGEST VAN on the planet along with the DragChairs. And Picture Car Warehouse will be truckin’ in 8 supreme beasts, all to make The Hollywood Garage the coolest booth on the planet. John Misumi from VISION is bringin’ an orange concept pocket rocket and our “Kid’s Car Design Contest” will be sick…

Stay tuned tomorrow for SHOTS FROM THE SHOW!!

JOHN CARTER Concept Art reveals desolate coolness…

Yes, John’s in for some water drinkin’ activity according to this concept art. And gone are the days of actual “paint” paintings it seems. Everything’s done on the computer. Is this a good thing? What do you think? Do these paintings feel CGenerated or do they have the life of paint? Leave a comment…

Christmas, SCI-FI style…

Yes, the holidays are a time for being a bit outrageous with cheer. And this dood wanted to express his love for Trek by building a TrekTree of lights. Cool, huh?

Next, he’s doing a Klingon Warbird full size with a William Shatner head on top. It’s called a BirdShat. Hm….
