The City of #FountainValley was incorporated in 1957 as the 21 city in the County of Orange. Since its incorporation, Fountain Valley has established itself both locally and nationally as a forward-looking community dedicated to improving the quality of life for its citizens.

The fantastic growth rate which Fountain Valley experienced in the 1960s took place within the framework of a Master Plan adopted before any developments had begun.

As Fountain Valley marches in the next millennium, we can point to our many successes over the past 50 years and build on this foundation to not only provide stability in the lives of our citizens but create the vision for the 21st century.

Fountain Valley is home to Mile Square Regional Park, a 640 acres (2.6 km2) park containing two lakes, three 18-hole golf courses, playing fields, picnic shelters, and a 20-acre (81,000 m2) urban-nature area planted with California native plants, a 55-acre (220,000 m2) recreation center with tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, a gymnasium, and the Kingston Boys & Girls Club.

Fire protection and emergency medical services are provided by two stations of the Fountain Valley Fire Department. Law enforcement is provided by the Fountain Valley Police Department. Ambulance service is provided by Care Ambulance Service.

CUSTOM 1958 CHEVY IMPALA! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 634

CUSTOM 1958 CHEVY IMPALA! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 634 – After Kathie makes the World’s Most Perfect #Salsa, Fireball heads to Dukes to see a pack of Challengers and then spots a flawless Custom 1958 Chevy Impala.

More on the Impala from WIKI… The Chevy Impala is a full-size car built by Chevrolet for model years 1958 to 1985, 1994 to 1996, and 2000 to present.

The Chevy Impala was Chevrolet’s most expensive passenger model through 1965, and had become the best-selling automobile in the United States.

For its debut, the #1958 #ChevyImpala was distinguished from other models by its symmetrical triple taillights, which returned from 1960 to 1996.

The Caprice was introduced as a top-line Impala Sport Sedan for model year 1965, later becoming a separate series positioned above the Impala in 1966, which, in turn, remained above the Bel Air and the Biscayne.

The 1958 Chevy Impala continued as Chevrolet’s most popular full-size model through the mid-1980s. Between 1994 and 1996, the Impala was revised as a 5.7-liter V8–powered version of the Caprice Classic sedan. 1958 CHEVY IMPALA

In 2000, the Impala was reintroduced again as a mainstream front-wheel drive Hi-Mid sedan. As of February 2014, the 2014 Impala ranked number one among Affordable Large Cars in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings.

When the current tenth generation of the Impala was introduced for the 2014 model year, the ninth generation was re-badged as the Impala Limited and sold only to fleet customers through 2016.

As of the 2015 model year, both versions are sold in the United States and Canada, with the current-generation Impala also sold in the Middle East, the People Republic of China, and South Korea.

SS DOMINATOR SHIPWRECK LUNADA BAY PALOS VERDES! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 633

SS DOMINATOR SHIPWRECK LUNADA BAY PALOS VERDES! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 633 – Fireball grabs the team and head to PV to discover a Shipwreck in Lunada Bay. The SS Dominator, crashed aground in 1961.

About PV from WIKI… The Palos Verdes Peninsula and Lunada Bay is a landform and a geographic sub-region of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, within southwestern Los Angeles County in the U.S. state of California.

Located in the South Bay region, the peninsula contains a group of affluent cities in the Palos Verdes Hills, including Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates. The South Bay city of Torrance borders the peninsula on the north, the Pacific Ocean is on the west and south, and the Port of Los Angeles is east. SS Dominator Shipwreck.

The hill cities on the peninsula are known for dramatic ocean and city views, distinguished schools, extensive horse trails, and expensive homes.

About the SS Dominator from WIKI…, a freighter, ran ashore Shipwreck on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the South Bay area of California in 1961 due to a navigational error while lost in fog. Its remains can still be seen today, and serves as a point of interest for hikers and kayakers.

The Dominator was originally the American Liberty ship Melville Jacoby, built during World War II at the Walsh-Kaiser Company shipyard in Providence, Rhode Island, and launched on 31 March 1944.

It was named after the journalist Melville Jacoby, who after reporting on the war in China, and narrowly escaping capture at Corregidor, was killed in an air crash in 1942.

During the war the Dominator was operated by the Wilmore Steamship Company of Boston, on behalf of the War Shipping Administration. In 1947 she was sold into commercial service, and flying the Panamanian flag, was renamed SS Victoria.

She changed hands in 1950, and was renamed SS North Queen, then again in 1953 and became SS Dominator.

On March 13, 1961, Dominator was en route to Los Angeles from Vancouver with a cargo of wheat and beef, when she ran aground Shipwreck off Palos Verdes, California.

For two days, the Coast Guard and tugboats attempted to refloat her, but heavy seas and high winds only forced her higher onto the rocks. After two days the crew abandoned ship.

The week’s BEST VEHICLE CONCEPT DESIGNS…

Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in films, video games, animation, comic books, or other media before it is put into the final product. Concept art is also referred to as visual development and/or concept design.

This term can also be applied to retail, set, fashion, architectural, and industrial design.

Concept art is developed in several iterations.

Artists try several designs to achieve the desired result for the work, or sometimes searching for an interesting result. Designs are filtered and refined in stages to narrow down the options.

Concept art is not only used to develop the work, but also to show the project’s progress to directors, clients and investors. Once the development of the work is complete, advertising materials often resemble concept art, although these are typically made specifically for this purpose, based on final work.

CAITLYN JENNER REVEALS HER BUG EYE SPRITE ON RODEO DRIVE! – FMV631

CAITLYN JENNER AT RODEO DRIVE CONCOURS! – FIREBALL MALIBU VLOG 631 – Fireball and Kathie head with the team to The Rodeo Drive Concours, have a convo with Caitlyn Jenner about her new Austin Healey Bug Eye Sprite!

About CAITLYN from WIKI… CaitlynJenner (born October 28, 1949), formerly known as #BruceJenner, is an American television personality and retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. Jenner was a college football player for the Graceland Yellowjackets before incurring a knee injury that required surgery.

Coach L. D. Weldon, who had coached Olympic decathlete Jack Parker, convinced Jenner to try the decathlon. After intense training, Jenner won the 1976 Olympics decathlon event at the Montreal Olympic Games, gaining fame as “an all-American hero”.

Jenner set a third successive world record while winning the Olympics. The winner of the Olympic decathlon is traditionally given the unofficial title of “world’s greatest athlete”.

With that stature, Jenner subsequently established a career in television, film, writing, auto racing, business and as a Playgirl cover model.

About RODEO DRIVE… Rodeo Drive is a two-mile-long street, primarily in Beverly Hills, California, with its southern segment in the City of Los Angeles.

Its southern terminus is at Beverwil Drive, and its northern terminus is at its intersection with Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

The name is most commonly used metonymically to refer to the three-block stretch of the street north of Wilshire Boulevard and south of Little Santa Monica Boulevard, which is known for its luxury goods stores.

The larger business district surrounding Rodeo, known as the “Golden Triangle,” which extends from Wilshire Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard, is both a shopping district and a tourist attraction.
