Fireball scoots amazing 2023 MAZDA MX-5 through the BU…

When the Miata first came out, it was a GO KART. Now… well, it’s still a GO KART but waaaaay cooler. In fact, it’s so refined and slick that people notice. Really notice.

From Malibu to Disneyland’s Californian Hotel, people couldn’t help but ponder themselves in the Spectraflame RED little roadster. But the selling point was the hyper-fast soft top removal. But the MX-5 still has a couple of unresolved quizzical items like the driver cup holder. You’ll need to be triple-jointed to use it… if you ever do. But otherwise, the design is attractive, fun and creates a tremendous amount of smiling jealousy.

I scooted this car for a week and found that parking was easy-peasy lemon squeezie, shopping worked as long as you didn’t buy too much (I recommend Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Pretzels), it was quick, agile and the fit & finish was a lock. Car was just plain fun… if fun is what you want.

But the best thing was just to cruise PCH without a care. Park wherever you want, climb in and out with ease and launch with a exhilarating but not neck breaking pace. Plus, people volunteered to be a drivers every where I went. So nice of them.

The design of the 2023 MAZDA MX-5 still holds up in every way, but as with most things, CHANGE is imminent. What will be next? You’ve probably already heard. But if you want something that you’ll REALLY enjoy, guaranteed? This is the car for you.
