DID YOU KNOW?? The voice actress, Holly Hunter, speaks from the right side of her mouth due to a childhood hearing condition, which is reflected in Elastigirl’s character. Some speculate that Elastigirl’s name was changed from “Elastigirl” to “Mrs. Incredible” because of a similar character named Rita Farr in DC Comics. The Incredicar is a vehicle with a stealth mode, built-in GPS, a mechanism to change Bob into his supersuit, and a “Boost” button. It was originally a M.E.V. (Mobile Emergency Vehicle) car, and was later reported to be dismantled or destroyed after superheroes were outlawed. It’s a parody of the Batmobile and even resembles the one from the 1960s Batman TV show. Um, kinda…

And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL… The Ball is doing a new show on Hemmings called CARS THAT MATTER, hosted by Robert Ross. They’ll explore Movie & TV Cars and filming starts in  June, so watch out for it! Today’s celeb is DENISE CROSBY as they cruise LA in a Mopar.
